Adam didn't wait for them to process it.
He had already said enough.
Without another word, he turned and walked off, heading deeper into the manor. The conversation behind him faded quickly as each member drifted back into their own concerns.
As for Adam, he returned to his room, the door closing quietly behind him, sealing off the noise from the rest of the manor. Adam let out a slow, controlled breath, the tension from the press conference finally fading from his shoulders.
At least that problem was handled.
The shareholders had seen enough. Between his display and Remedy's explanation, any thoughts of interference or hidden agendas should have been crushed. Even if doubt remained, none of them would act on it blindly anymore.
Adam didn't dwell on it.
He hadn't even met most of them directly, and he had no intention of starting now. Their concerns were irrelevant compared to what actually mattered. There were bigger problems ahead, ones that required real preparation.
