Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Blessing of the Ice God — The Strongest Ice Element!

Tianlan High School, Class 1-7.

"Mu Nianbing, Ice Element."

"Good talent. Remember to cultivate diligently."

Zhang Jianguo's face showed satisfaction. Although it wasn't as rare as Xu Zhaoting's Lightning Element, the Ice Element was still an excellent choice for a mage.

Mu Nianbing nodded slightly, then turned and walked back to his seat.

Fifteen years ago, he had been hit by a truck and transmigrated into this world, becoming Mu Ningxue's distant cousin.

Thinking of the Mu Family's future, Mu Nianbing couldn't help but smile bitterly.

In Bo City, the Mu Family had been a powerful landowner clan. But after the Bo City Calamity, they would be forced to relocate to the Imperial Capital.

As the heart of Huaxia, the Imperial Capital was filled with countless powerful forces intertwined in politics, power, and magic.

The Mu Family didn't even have a single Advanced Mage. It was clear how difficult it would be for them to establish themselves there.

Yet Mu Zhuoyun, ever ambitious, still refused to give up—believing he could secure a place within the main Mu Clan by relying on Mu Ningxue's exceptional talent.

But in the eyes of the Mu Clan, he was nothing more than a slightly more useful servant.

Whether on Blue Star or in this magical world, there was one universal truth—the strong reign supreme!

"Strength…"

Mu Nianbing's eyes flickered with a faint light. Suddenly, lines of crystalline text appeared across his retina, shining like frozen starlight.

[Gained the Blessing of the Ice God.]

[Ability 1: Ice Crown — Possesses the Strongest Ice Seed (Growth Required), Completely Immune to Ice Element Damage.]

[Ability 2: Absolute Ice Affinity — Greatly Increases the Favorability of Ice-Attribute Creatures.]

In that instant, Mu Nianbing could sense the joyful resonance of countless Ice Element spirits gathering around him.

The golden finger had finally arrived—though a little late!

He took a deep breath, suppressing the thrill in his chest.

With this, he finally had the qualification to stand at the very pinnacle of the magical world!

However, for now, he needed to stay low-key.

As a transmigrator, Mu Nianbing knew that there were two ticking time bombs within the Mu Family—Mu Yuang and Mu He.

Mu Yuang had only just awakened his element like him, so he wasn't much of a concern for now.

But Mu He… he was a High Priest of the Black Vatican, codenamed Tiger Jin. His cultivation was undoubtedly beyond the Advanced Level.

Even worse, Mu He also held another identity—a director at Tianlan High School.

If Mu Nianbing revealed his powerful abilities, it would surely attract Mu He's attention.

Although the Ice God's Blessing granted him complete immunity to Ice Element attacks, it did nothing against other elements.

That meant—for now—secrecy was survival.

Zhang Jianguo continued awakening elements for the remaining students.

"Next up—Mo Fan."

Mu Nianbing's lips curled slightly. He should awaken both the Lightning and Fire Elements…

Before obtaining the Ice God's Blessing, he had envied Mo Fan's innate dual elements. But now, that envy had completely vanished.

Dual elements were powerful, but they required double the time and effort to cultivate. Even with the Little Loach Pendant, it would be hard to fully unlock their potential early on.

With the Ice God's Blessing, his single Ice Element could rival—or even surpass—Mo Fan's Lightning and Fire!

After school, Mu Nianbing left Tianlan High School.

Since the Mu Family Manor was close by, he chose not to stay in the dorms.

As he entered the manor, he saw Mu Zhuoyun approaching.

"Nianbing, what element did you awaken?" Mu Zhuoyun asked, his expression filled with concern and anticipation.

Mu Nianbing's father had once saved Mu Zhuoyun's life. But ten years ago, while hunting demons, his father was grievously injured and later passed away.

Because of that debt, Mu Zhuoyun had always treated Mu Nianbing well—sometimes even better than his own son, Mu Yuang.

"Uncle Yun, I awakened the Ice Element," Mu Nianbing replied without hesitation.

Mu Zhuoyun nodded, unsurprised. After all, both of Mu Nianbing's parents were Ice Element mages—the affinity would naturally pass on.

"Here," Mu Zhuoyun said, handing him a silver bracelet engraved with faint runes. "This Stardust Magic Tool was left behind by your father. It's yours now."

"Thank you, Uncle Yun."

Mu Nianbing accepted it with both hands, feeling a weight in his chest. Though he had no real emotional connection with this world's father, he still couldn't help but feel something stir within him.

Perhaps this was the so-called transmigrator's curse—fate's little reminder that he wasn't entirely heartless.

"Oh, right," Mu Zhuoyun added, patting his shoulder with a smile. "In the next three years, cultivate hard and aim for the Imperial Capital Magic Academy."

Mu Nianbing understood what he meant. Mu Ningxue was already admitted to the Imperial Capital Academy. If he entered too, the two could look out for one another.

But he had no intention of going there.

If he entered the Imperial Capital, he would be constantly monitored by the main Mu Clan. If they discovered his true talent, they might forcefully control or even dissect him for research.

Even Mu Bingluan, a direct descendant of the main family, had her talent stripped away. What chance would a collateral like him have?

"Understood, Uncle Yun. I'll work hard," Mu Nianbing said calmly.

He decided to play along for now. Once the Bo City Calamity began, Mu Zhuoyun would be too busy to mind his affairs.

After exchanging a few more words, Mu Nianbing returned to his room and immediately entered a meditative state.

No matter how great one's talent, it was meaningless without hard work.

The moment he closed his eyes, he could feel the surrounding Ice Elements surging toward him—dense, cool, and endlessly pure.

It felt as if he were submerged in an ocean of frost.

The elemental density was at least two to three times that of normal surroundings—comparable to training in the Three-Step Tower!

Combined with the 20% enhancement from his Stardust Magic Tool, his cultivation speed was extraordinary.

At this rate, he could reach Elementary Level 3 within a year and Intermediate Level within two!

With enough Ice Element resources, he might even achieve that in just a year and a half.

Terrifying potential indeed.

Over the next month, Mu Nianbing meditated six hours a day.

While it didn't seem much, he still had to attend classes five days a week. Fortunately, Tianlan High School's teaching system was flexible—apart from a few mandatory lessons, students were free to cultivate independently.

After a month of focused meditation, Mu Nianbing began practicing control over Star Particles.

Normally, it would take at least two months before one could start that process.

But thanks to his Ice God's Blessing and boosted cultivation speed, he reached that stage in just half the time.

Between cultivation sessions, Mu Nianbing would occasionally visit Ye Xinxia.

After all, having transmigrated, shouldn't he at least enjoy life a little?

Since Mo Jiaxing worked as the Mu Family's personal driver, it wasn't difficult for Nianbing to visit her when they were younger.

Over time, Xinxia naturally began calling him "Bother Nian."

As for Mo Fan… well, with all his Blue Star memories, he still couldn't handle one little girl?

After two playful beatings, he finally learned his lesson.
