"She is here for you."
Rai glared at Zade for another second, mind blanking out from pure irritation before he stepped forward. His glare shifted to the girl standing outside the door, who had now visibly grown nervous under the sudden tension.
Of course.
An annoyed Zade was a little terrifying, especially to someone who had never seen much of him before.
"Ah… I am so sorry to bother you, sir, but I wanted to tell you an emergency occurred and we are leaving back to my hometown right now. I'll be back around three days later and we wouldn't be able to do the interview… so can I get a time to meet you after I come back again?"
"Yeah. It's alright."
Rai answered automatically.
But the moment he spoke, warmth spread sharply across his back again, making him stiffen. He turned slightly and immediately spotted Zade's shoes right behind his own, barely a centimeter away.
Because the door partially covered them, the girl thankfully didn't seem to notice.
