Raj released his Beedrill to scout the skies in search of the massive Pokémon Island.
Meanwhile, Ash and Team Rocket were blown away by Gyarados's Dragon Rage for some unknown reason, getting separated from their Pokémon in the chaos.
When Raj finally located the enormous island, he happened to run into the lost Ash, Misty, and Brock.
Ding! Hidden mission triggered — to be a successful villain, you must infiltrate the inner circle of the "righteous" characters, gain their trust without being exposed, and assist them through their current crisis. Reward: 20,000 points.
Raj feigned surprise and said with a casual tone, "Ash, you're here too? What a coincidence."
"Raj! You're here too? That's awesome!" Ash said happily as he saw Raj land from Beedrill.
"By the way, Raj, this is Brock — former Pewter City Gym Leader. He's traveling with us now and takes great care of Pokémon."
"Your name's Raj, right? Ash and Misty mentioned you before. Nice to meet you," Brock said, extending his hand.
"Haha, you're too polite. I'm glad to meet you too."
(At that moment, Raj thought to himself, Of course I know you, Brock — Rock-type Gym Leader and notorious flirt. You fall for every girl you meet, you hopeless simp.)
"Long time no see, Raj. Ash keeps talking about you, says he misses you," Misty said with a warm smile.
"Alright, alright, don't make it sound weird," Raj laughed.
"Anyway, how did you all end up here? When I was sailing earlier, a huge wave capsized my boat.
Luckily, I flew out with Beedrill and started looking for shelter. Then I ran into you — and you all look worried. What happened?"
"Raj, you really are like timely rain," Ash said with relief. "We lost all our Pokémon and are trying to find them. Can you help us?"
"Of course. Beedrill, fly up and search the area. Look for Ash and the others' Pokémon. If you find them, come back and lead us there." Raj smiled, joining their group as they began their search.
As they were walking, a massive bird Pokémon suddenly appeared in the sky — its enormous body crackling with lightning.
However, strangely, the system gave no prompt.
Raj frowned. What kind of Pokémon is this that even the system can't detect it?
Deciding not to fight head-on, he quickly retreated with Ash and the others.
Meanwhile, Ash's Pikachu and the other missing Pokémon were also searching for their trainers.
They encountered a giant Blastoise, and Ash's Squirtle stepped forward to negotiate.
"Squirtle, squirtle!" (Hello, boss!)
Blastoise glanced back but said nothing.
"Squirtle, squirtle…" (Nice weather today?)
"ROAR!" Blastoise suddenly unleashed a Hydro Pump, forcing Pikachu and the others to flee for their lives.
Elsewhere, Team Rocket was riding a minecart along a track, trying to escape a giant Kabutops. In their panic, they snapped the switch handle on the cart.
Jessie, James, and Meowth screamed as the minecart sped wildly down the track, the cables tangling with the Kabutops, dragging it along.
Their runaway cart suddenly collided with Raj and the others, forcing everyone to cram together inside.
At the same time, Beedrill found Pikachu and the others and led them back toward Ash's group.
But before they could reunite, the giant Kabutops tripped the giant Pikachu and giant Blastoise, causing chaos as the minecart dragged all three massive Pokémon forward.
Raj's mouth twitched at the sight.
"You've got to be kidding me…" he muttered. "I was supposed to help them, not get flattened with them."
The cable suddenly snapped, sending the entire cart flying into the air — straight into the massive bird Pokémon's wing.
The collision tore through its metal exterior, revealing it was actually a mechanical Pokémon!
The wreck then plunged into a nearby lake.
"Ugh, seriously?! Why does this stuff always happen to us?" Misty groaned.
Then came a familiar, flamboyant voice:
"Since you asked sincerely…
Let us show you our true identity!"
Amado: "A beautiful, elegant lady whose charm blooms in chaos — the bewitching flower of evil!"
Kozaburo: "The dark messenger who rides the storm — striking down the weak in the name of Team Rocket!"
"Team Rocket — blasting off to glory!"
Jessie and James gawked.
"Amado, Kozaburo?! What the hell are you doing here?" Jessie shouted.
Amado sneered. "You losers are still alive? No wonder you're the laughingstock of the entire Team Rocket."
"What did you just say?!" Jessie snapped. "Don't get cocky, Amado! We'll catch a super strong Pokémon and prove ourselves to the Boss!"
Kozaburo's tone turned cold. "You destroyed the Giant Pokémon Island that Boss Kenji worked so hard to maintain. We're here to punish you — and take every Pokémon you own as compensation."
"Go! Metagross!"
"Go! Houndoom!"
They released their Pokémon at once.
Ding! System prompt: Two Pokémon (already have trainers) detected 30 meters ahead.
Metagross — Steel/Psychic-type
Skills: Flash Cannon, Zen Headbutt, Meteor Mash, Iron Defense, Hyper Beam
Combat Power: 670
Houndoom — Dark/Fire-type
Skills: Howl, Flamethrower, Crunch, Fire Fang, Thunder Fang
Combat Power: 700
"So this is where Ash and the others are in danger," Raj thought.
He stepped forward. "Ash, leave these two to me. I'll handle them — consider this my strength test."
"Be careful, Raj! They look way stronger than ordinary opponents," Ash warned.
Raj smirked. "Go! Mudkip! Haunter!"
Amado's eyes gleamed. "A Shiny Mudkip?! This kid's loaded! Kozaburo, let's steal his Pokémon!"
Raj snorted. "If you want my Pokémon, you'll have to beat me first. Mudkip, use Mud-Slap after Double Team! Haunter, use Hypnosis on Houndoom!"
"Metagross, Iron Defense! Houndoom, Howl then Flamethrower! Attack together!"
The opposing moves clashed in a deafening explosion, shockwaves rippling through the air. For a moment, both sides were evenly matched — neither willing to back down.
