Chiaki Izumi, walked towards the same window to witness the mother nature's beauty, while the sun sets and the orange hue blanket covers the world as the street lights were already shining.
"Why did you brought them here? When I already told you not to bring any of those humans here in my fucking place, not only in my fucking room. You would have taken them to cafe or somewhere else but this room." Nogami asked, clearly not happy about his peace getting destroyed by those human kids.
"Why? Don't you have fun? Talking and enjoying with others. I can already see the difference within you, you seem more calm, polite, and well behaved infront of others not like a spoil brat who curse even in slightest scent of humans. Good boy, keep on progressing." Chiaki said with smile as her slender fingers touched her chin like she was thinking something, her beautiful red eyes never left the glimpse of the sky, showcasing it's beauty, look like she truly enjoys the nature. She was looking extremely mesmerizing from her chin on her fingers.
"YOU, WHAT DID YOU SAID? Do you really think you can tame a fuc—" Nogami was extremely angry as he nearly burst in rage upon hearing this but got stop in mid sentence before finishing because Chiaki suddenly exclaimed. "Woah, Stop."
"What.." Nogami paused for a moment in confusion.
"Don't shout that loud, this is not your castle you used to live, devil boy. Moreover, if you should that loud neighbor will hear you and think of you as a abuser for shouting that loud on a girl. And you might end up in a jail, just a reminder." Chiaki replied normally like a young girl, don't seems that introvert like infront of others. She only open up infront of people she deeply know, like with some of her friends as well.
"So, what if I am not in my castle, do you think I am afraid of these pathetic humans?" Nogami said in prideful tone with his brows frowned.
"Oh, I am sure you do not fear. But don't you think it would be humiliating to get captured by these humans, when they put you behind the bars for this stupidity." Chiaki asked as she returned her gaze towards the setting sun.
"That—but I don't care, I will—" Nogami didn't care about her warning and about to shout out off irritation. After all, it was more humiliating to be the servent of a human kid than getting inside the jail of humans for a crime. He hate this girl from his core, she have nearly broke all his pride, he used to have when he was first born. Now all he has left was just pure rage from all the frustration for doing all the work day and night by himself for this girl.
"Aghh..stop it already. I told you not to shout, I don't like loud volume." Chiaki said in annoyance while looking at him with the corner of her eyes, her red pupils were shining like vampire's eyes even though she wasn't even using her power to make it glow.
"Huh? What's that Chiaki? Do you think you can scare me The Devil King with those eyes?" Nogami said with boastful expression.
"Nogami, How long are you going to portrait yourself as a devil boy? You have died already, forget about all that and live a normal mortal's life till death find you." Chiaki said as she rolled her eyes, adjusting it's focus again towards the origin. She took a breif pause after saying this, making Nogami wanted to say something but before he could Chiaki continued. "Oh, Nogami see the sun is about to get down, so be prepared you need to continue your night shift. Otherwise the boss would cut your salary, I don't want to get less Ice-cream next month." Her words made him look at the time on the clock.
"It's 4:30 pm, and my night work would start at 6 pm. So, I still have plenty of time to fight with you." Nogami replied calmly like he return to normal self in front of everyone.
"I know, but you have to made the dinner before leaving. Cause I don't want to sleep without eating it will make me malnourished and affect my overall look and body. And I don't want to wait either till you returned and make me food before I sleep. It would leave dark circles under my eyes. So—" Chiaki explained all this like she wasn't someone who made a Devil King her servent but a normal young girl who take care of her beauty, even though she didn't need to take care of these superficial things but she needs to, to be a normal girl.
"Wait a sec, what did you just said? You are worried that you would get dark circles under your eyes, just because you would wait till I return and cook you dinner. You know your skin will forever be fine and attractive like this. You just need to use that power of yours a bit." Nogami said.
"Hmm..what powers are you talking about? I am just a waek girl, who need her brother's help to even raise a bottle cap and you are telling me to use powers. Powers are only for rich people who have harvested those special energy crystal. For people as poor as us we need to take care of us by relaying on money. Only money can give us power in this cruel world." Chiaki act dramatically like a actor shoting a film.
"Cease your acting, Chiaki-san. Do you think I can forget it that easily? When I first fought with you after killing those two humans, my first attack was enough. Did you forgot? How that attack of mine burst half of your left side of face like a tomato under an hydraulic. You flesh and blood was all over splashing and colored the floor with all that your facial muscles hanging out of your skull like I made you a living zombie. Hahaha, that was really satisfying whenever I remember that I feel like I am in hell, with my subordinates." Nogami explained that as he was giggling to himself.
"Ughh.." Chiaki-san's eyes twitched as she looked completely disgust by this person before she replied. "But you still lost to me."
"Yeah, I know. And that's the worst night of my life time that I regret it till now. My powers was with me at that moment, if only I haven't taken you lightly and instead of blowing half of yours skull, I should have turned you into ashes so you can't regenerate to kill me. I thought you would be like those two humans but who the hell can even imagine of a mere human can have such ability to not only recover completely from that fatal injurie within less than a milisecond and even attack powerful enough to captured me ( The Devil King). But one think I still don't understand how did you not only not died but also recovered so fast from a devil's attack like a child play. Even though my attack was quiet weak because I underestimated you but any physical blow of mine as a devil was irreversible. Which means no matter how powerful one have a healing factor they can never undo my blows. Once injured, one can't heal again no matter. And forget about not able to be healthy you didn't even took time to heal. It healed so fast, like if I didn't have special abilities then no one even in the world would be able to saw that face of yours." Nogami finally said his thoughts on this.
"That's a secret." Chiaki said playfully showing her tongue slightly look extremely cute like beyond explanation because of that special aura normal person can't see around her.
"Why..why can't you just tell me when I told you every second of my life." Nogami asked with his eyes narrowed.
"You are wasting my time, so go and cook I am going to make my homework and some shit. And remember only make with the instructions I gave you, and don't dare to cook after returning. Otherwise my eyes won't like it." Chiaki said before happily going to her own room while jumping on her own like her life was as amazing as she was in heaven.
"You- you are worrying about your own eyes when you have such amazing otherworldly abilities. Look at can't you see all those dark bags beneath my eyes, it all happened because every day and night. I have to work for you, just to satisfy your own selfish interest. Don't you feel pity on me? Usually you always portrait yourself as a kind, sympathetic angle infront of others. Then where is that sympathy when you nearly everyday saw, I can't able to sleep properly for even four hours in twenty four hours. I remains stressed all the time because I need to do things for you. Why don't you feel pity..? To make me work like a slave when you are that kind of person." Nogami asked his head lowered with his voice but his words were heavy. His sudden words do made Chiaki to froze in her place as she remained still her face showed no emotions before she finally said.
"I—I am sympathetic, I don't like others to suffer, I truly can't see other suffer especially after they come in under my wings, asking for help. And if they shed a tear infront of me I can forgive them from any kind of mistake or sin they have committed in there life no matter how bad of a crime they have committed. But I am also powerful enough to understand ones inner words and meaning I can tell if a person truly is regretful of his or her actions. " Chiaki thought before she finally opened her mouth.
