"Young Master Lin Feng… there is something wrong with your tea," Ye Jian said, unable to hold back any longer as she voiced the obvious suspicion in her heart.
Her brows were slightly knitted together as she stared down at the cup in her hands as if it had betrayed her.
"Oh? Let me check." Lin Feng sounded mildly surprised, though his calm expression did not change in the slightest. He casually picked up his own cup and took a slow sip.
The room fell silent.
Ning Xi and Ye Jian watched him with intense focus, their eyes fixed on his every movement as if they were afraid to miss even the smallest reaction.
Lin Feng closed his eyes for a brief moment as the tea passed his lips. Then he slowly licked the corner of his mouth as if savoring the flavor with great enjoyment.
"It is good," he said after a moment. "It is the perfect tea for me." He opened his eyes and looked at the two women with mild curiosity.
