Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Pursuit from Vilgax!

Aiden's breathing quickened as he stared at the glowing Omnitrix. His right hand trembled slightly as he reached out toward it.

Whoosh!

The Omnitrix suddenly lifted from the ground, as if it were alive, and shot through the air straight toward him.

Before Aiden could react, it latched firmly onto his right wrist.

A cool, tingling sensation spread through his arm as the device locked into place, the black and green dial pulsing with light.

He waved his hand experimentally—

The Omnitrix didn't budge. It didn't shake, slip, or cause any pain.

"It really won't come off…" he muttered in awe.

The watch had fused perfectly to his wrist, yet it felt weightless—almost natural.

Taking a steadying breath, Aiden gently tapped the dial.

Click!

The Omnitrix faceplate sprang open with a mechanical hiss, revealing a glowing green core.

An alien silhouette appeared on the screen.

Aiden rotated the dial, and the display shifted—showing another alien, then another.

Seeing it in person—this legendary device he had only watched in cartoons—Aiden's heart raced with excitement.

As a lifelong Ben 10 fan, he'd dreamed of this moment.

"I can't just go transforming right away…" he whispered to himself, forcing down the thrill bubbling inside him. "I should save it for emergencies."

Taking one last glance at the Omnitrix, he turned and jogged back toward the campsite.

Grandpa Max and the others were probably wondering where he'd gone.

Meanwhile, deep in outer space...

A massive warship drifted through the dark void, its hull cracked and scarred from countless battles. Inside, red warning lights pulsed as steam hissed from the walls.

In the ship's command hall stood a towering, tentacled being—half-mechanical, half-organic. His single, monstrous eye burned with rage.

It was Vilgax, the Conqueror of Ten Worlds.

"The Omnitrix has fallen to Earth!" he roared, his deep voice echoing through the chamber. "Deploy the drones! I want the crash site located immediately!"

"Yes, Lord Vilgax!" a squad of robotic soldiers responded, trembling as they hurried to obey.

Even damaged and half-rebuilt, Vilgax's presence was suffocating. None dared to question him.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Moments later, several small attack pods launched from the warship, streaking toward Earth in fiery trails.

Vilgax clenched his clawed fist. "That watch is mine. Even if I have to tear the planet apart, I will have the Omnitrix!"

Back on Earth

By the time Aiden returned to the campsite, the bonfire was already crackling brightly.

Ben and Gwen sat in foldable chairs, roasting marshmallows as the night breeze stirred the flames.

"Aiden," Grandpa Max called, stepping out of the RV with a steaming bowl in hand. Inside squirmed what looked suspiciously like worms.

Aiden's expression twitched. "Uh… what's that, Grandpa?"

"Dinner," Max said proudly. "Protein worms—good for survival training."

But as Max looked closer, his eyes fell on the Omnitrix now strapped to Aiden's wrist.

"Hold on… where'd you get that watch? You weren't wearing it before."

Ben's eyes went wide. "Whoa! That thing looks awesome! Where'd you buy it?"

Aiden raised his wrist awkwardly. "You guys might not believe this… I found it in the woods. It just—jumped onto my hand. And now I can't take it off."

Gwen frowned. "A watch that can't come off? Yeah, right."

To prove it, Ben reached forward and tugged hard at the device.

His face turned red as he strained, but it didn't budge.

"Ugh! It's like it's glued on!"

Grandpa Max tried next, pulling at it carefully—but even his strength couldn't loosen it.

"See?" Aiden said with a helpless shrug. "Told you. It's stuck."

"That's… strange," Max muttered, his tone turning serious. "Where exactly did you find it?"

"In a crater, not far from here," Aiden said. "Looked like something fell from the sky."

Ben's eyes lit up. "A crater?! Dude, that's totally a UFO!"

Gwen rolled her eyes. "Please. If it were a UFO, there'd be aliens all over the place."

Aiden smiled wryly. You're not wrong, Gwen… you just don't know it yet.

Max adjusted his belt and straightened. "Let's go take a look. If that really came from the sky, it could be dangerous."

"Right!" Ben said eagerly.

Aiden led the group through the forest until they reached the massive crater. The wrecked pod still smoldered faintly at the bottom.

Ben's jaw dropped. "Whoa… this looks exactly like a UFO!"

Gwen folded her arms. "And that's supposed to explain how it turned into a watch?"

Aiden didn't answer. His instincts were suddenly screaming.

Grandpa Max crouched at the crater's edge, inspecting the wreckage. "You three stay up there. I'll check it out."

As he climbed down, Aiden noticed the soil trembling faintly beneath their feet.

"Wait," he said sharply, stepping protectively in front of Ben and Gwen. "Something's not right."

The ground rumbled again—harder this time.

"What's wrong?" Ben asked.

Then they saw it.

From the depths of the forest, a giant robot emerged—its metal limbs crashing through trees as its red sensors locked onto them.

It towered over the canopy, its footsteps shaking the earth.

Ben's face went pale. "Uh… guys? That's not a UFO. That's a killer robot!"

Aiden's eyes narrowed. "Vilgax's drones… they're already here."

He clenched his fist. "Everyone—RUN!"
