"What do you want, Ruby?" I demanded.
"I came to apologize and talk to you," she desperately said.
"I don't want to speak with you and I do not accept your apology." I refused as I stepped outside and walked past her, ensuring that our shoulders brushed.
"But you accepted Peter's apology," she pointed out but I didn't bother answering her.
"Deborah, please, I was forced by father not to tell." she pleaded and I finally stopped and slowly turned to face her.
"Father? Then what about Peter?" I asked.
"H-he di-"
"Enough of the lies Ruby!" I snapped at her and turned to leave.
"Please, sister," she pleaded as she came after me.
"If you forgive Peter then you have to forgive me as well," she defended herself and I scoffed.
"Who said I will forgive Peter?" I dreadfully asked and came to a stop, making her halt behind me.
"Speaking of Peter…" I began and slowly faced her with a hard glare.
