Chapter 26 - Getting a cheat? -1

Two weeks had passed since Calix had decided to separate with Anaerah. Even after saying that he had to finish the quest quickly to Anaerah.

He in the past couple of weeks, hadn't done much really.

In the couple of weeks Calix had decided to give his mind a rest. He had decided to give his mind so time to recover from all the suffering he had gone through.

He knew, that no matter how hard the rock is..if hammered continuously with a feral intensity it will crumble in no time.

In a way the human mind was similar to rock. If it's continuously suffers from hardships and pain without any proper semblance of rest, it would eventually break.

However, that also doesn't mean that he was just wasting his time laundering around the forest. No... in the span of two weeks Calix had focused on improving two things.

First, was his basic combat.

Be it, in the first fight against knight or in his last fight against the Boss. He had realized how bad his combat ability was... something that of course was very normal for an earthling.

After all, they ain't got magic and monsters on the Earth.

The only reason, he could have fought much to begin with the knight was his uncanny and outstanding instincts.

It was something, he had discovered while training that his instinct was unnaturally sharp. Be it in the field, of sensing the incoming attacks and danger or be it in the field of heading into an unknown danger.

They always alerted him.

"Did my instincts travelled with my soul tooor something?" The reason he had asked this to himself was, that his instincts were same as they were on Earth in his old body.

Truly abnormal.

However returning back to the topic...he had trained his basic combat ability to fully gain the understanding of combat techniques and strategies as given in the rewards from the Zero'th Legacy.

The second thing he focused on was his mana manipulation.

Unlike combat and sword, magic...magic was something that came to Calix almost on a silver platter, waiting to be used.

Mana was something that Calix didn't have as much as difficulty as he had originally thought no...mana rather obeyed him in a strangely reverent way which of course he didn't mind.

So in the span of two weeks...he had focused on himself.

Now, sitting beneath the dark tree..he was ready to take the first challenge on. Turning his face to the side he saw a swirling fracture in reality on front of him.

Whirrrrr..

It was the dungeon, which the system had allocated him too. It was a novice rank one.

"Stay here, big guy...this may take a bit of time." Ruffling the dark fur of his horse he said.

He wasn't much worried about his horse. Since there's a dungeon gate here, most monster won't come near it and even if they come his horse could always run.

And then can track it way back to him. Yes, it was some magic spell casted on the horses by the Dukedom from which the horse would always make it's way back to it's owner.

"Hrrr." The horse neighed as it's let Calix ruffle it.

Being done with his horse, he picked up his sword and moved towards the gate.

The system's screen lit up with glow in front of him as he neared the gate.

[Name- The GlowSphere's.]

[Rank- Novice+]

[Description-As the first rays of light brightened up the dark world, a fearsome growl broke throughout the world. Cries and wails rang in a chaotic symphony as the light purged the flood of darkness yet even after devouring the darkness it didn't stop instead it brightened more and more...soon the world become lifeless and barren, the living died while the dead praised the salvation of the void.]

[Limit- Restricted to anyone other than the Successor.]

"What?" Confused after reading the strange description Calix uttered.

"Ah, system. What is this?" He asked hoping to gain some answer however only silence was given to him.

The system had gone almost like missing.

"Hey, are you there? System...hello hmm, did your hardware malfunctioned?" Calix scratched his head lightly.

[I am not some computer. How many time do I have to SAY IT?]

The loud and monotouns voice of the system yelled in his mind as Calix backed his head away from the translucent screen hoping, it would have some effect to reduce the voice which it obviously didn't not.

"So you can speak again, huh. Tell me what it is with the description? It's seems almost a historical event in a way." Calix asked.

[Sorry, host I can't tell you that for now... however i will asure you everything will come together once you grow in power.]

With that the system fell quiet again and this time Calix didn't said anything looking at the screen he just narrowed his eyes and a moment later he shrugged.

'Can't do anything about it anyway for now.' Thus with that the boy jumped into the unknown.

Meanwhile, somewhere around the corner of Arcania another person was moving towards a fracture of reality.

Golden hair casted on his beautiful face shimmered like a seductive sin while eyes of the colour same as his hairs watched the world with sharpness that one wouldn't expect it.

He was Vian Brightsun.

The Youngest of the Bright Dukedom.

The Prodigy who stood at the top of the Golden Generation.

Or if we talk about the words Calix would describe him then he was...the greatest hope of Arcania.

As the boy moved towards the dungeon gate a screen lit up in front him.

[Name- Solace In Holy]

[Rank- Intermidiate+]

[Description- Once there was beautiful land filled with eternal treachery. For the corrupt it was heaven for the devotees it was solace... however in the end treachery couldn't be always hidden. The Keepers found it and became the doom of holy land. The sinners were burned. The devotees were hung....in the aftermath all that remained was The Holy.]

"Strange.." The boy spoke stroking his chin lightly while his focused on the text. Then after some time, he just shrugged and moved inside the dungeon.

Maybe...it was destiny?

Maybe it was coincidence?

Who knows what it was?

However, it was a start.

A start of something that no would ever expect.

The Protagonist And The Extra entered the unknown.
