'Can i win this?'Anaerah spoke calmly into her mind as she closed her eyes for a moment.
Everything—the rush of anticipation and fear in her after knowing who she was fighting, the chorus of cheers and roars heading towards them…seems to blur out as she focused solely into her mind, seemingly waiting for something or rather someone to answer.
And someone indeed answered her back.
"Honestly no, you cannot." A blunt feminine voice dripping with raw honesty and calmness rang in her mind.
Anaerah winced from her words.
'That quick, huh. Guess, it's only him who has become stronger while I'm weak.' She said with a sigh.
"No, child, I never said that you are weak. Rather it's the opponent whom you are facing is way too strong and unlike you more experienced." The voice replied back into her head.
'Such high praise coming from you, how very strange.' Anaerah replied back, understanding the level of her opponent as this lady in her head rarely praises anyone.
