Instructor Sormon and the Shadow Blades were stunned when they saw how quickly Simon was climbing the fourth section of the cliff wall.
It was like the dense fog did not exist, and he was back on the first section.
They were utterly confused, and some of the Shadow Blades had no idea what to do.
Normally, once an Initiate was able to reach the fourth section of the wall, they were not meant to attack the Initiate because it would be extremely difficult for the First Years to dodge the arrows in the thick grey fog.
The Shadow Blades were able to see because of the clan's ocular technique, but they knew that Simon did not possess this technique because the First Years had not yet been taught this ocular technique.
So, how was Simon able to navigate through the fog almost like it did not exist?
This was the question none of them could answer.
