Some minutes after Merath and Jorra left, Instructor Sormon finally came back with a bunch of students floating in front of him as he walked down the wall.
He was using his dark brown demonic energy to carry the students, and some of Simon's classmates glanced at him.
They knew what this meant.
Simon was the only member of the class to climb five hundred feet of the cliff wall.
No other person arrived through shadow teleportation before and after Simon. Not even Sunless could reach the fifth section before two hours were up.
This pissed off Instructor Sormon far more than one might think, and he nearly gave Sunless an extra one hour so that Simon would not be the only Initiate of the class to achieve something that was actually not meant to be achieved.
To climb five hundred feet of the cliff wall was a task that was actually not meant to be completed on the first day of class.
Especially when every hundred feet of the wall was different.
