Xavier slowly opened his brilliant golden eyes, his gaze darting around still carrying a bit of the sleepy fogginess of someone just awakened from a beautiful dream. But even though his mind was not entirely fully awake, he still caught and heard very clearly every single word Jasmine had just said to him. Without hesitation, he immediately flapped his tiny black-scaled wings, wobbling as he hovered into the air, and let out a short hiss: "Let's go back."
Seeing that his flying posture was still crooked, staggering from sleepiness and clearly not fully awake, Jasmine decisively reached out both hands, scooped him up, and held him close against her chest. Only then did she turn and wave to signal the restless Angus: "Hurry up, let's go immediately."
