He was not like the other slaves who dared not actively strike up a conversation with Jasmine. Marcus knew very well how to seize an opportunity; otherwise, he would not have made Jasmine remember his name so clearly within just a few short days.
"You need to ask Isaac about this." Jasmine would not interfere too much in the arrangement of the guard unit. Whether the guard unit needed to expand its numbers or not was entirely up to Isaac and the old Butler to discuss and decide. Jasmine only needed to review the final result that the two submitted.
