After he was gone, the attendant took out a book and began writing in it. She was a lady, and the hand that she used to hold the pen was fair and delicate.
She wrote in line, saying, "The special guest is gone."
In response, something invisible wrote in the next line, saying, "What was his reaction when you told him about the condition to break the rules?"
She wrote, "When I told him that we would answer any question if he told you how to advance to rank 6, he didn't seem frightened, overwhelmed, or balk at the idea of helping someone advance to rank 6. He also seemed to accept the request as being reasonable."
The person on the other side said, "So he thought that it was reasonable, but didn't explore the idea. Since he didn't call the request absurd, it means that he doesn't think advancing to rank 6 is absurd. That means that he has confidence in advancing to rank 5 himself."
