VIVIAN
Sienna's apartment is organized chaos. Books everywhere. Papers scattered. Research covering every surface. Like a detective's murder board except the murder is supernatural and the victim is Chase Sterling.
"You've been busy," I say. Looking at the evidence. The timeline. The connections she's mapped.
"Helena gave me a lot to work with. Her grimoire notes. The curse mechanics. Everything." Sienna clears space on her couch. "Sit. This is going to take a while."
I sit. Nervous. Excited. Terrified. This is it. The moment I learn everything. The moment I understand what I'm fighting.
"Before I show you, I need to know. Are you sure?" Sienna looks at me. Serious. Concerned. "Once you see this, once you know the curse is real, you can't unknow it. Can't go back to skepticism. Can't pretend it's coincidence or mental illness or anything rational."
