"Dear, you don't need to cry and shed tears. Sister doesn't hate you or judge you. I understand your plight, and it a good thing that you overcame the obstacles and now you are here," she softly comforted her, patting her back gently and soothingly.
"You really feel that way?" Amabel's uncertain voice rang, a bit shaky, sounding quite emotional, and Daphne wryly smiled as she continued to pat Amabel's back.
"Um, I feel that way and to me it doesn't matter what kind of relationship you are. You are my little sister, my little friend and because of that, I will always be on your side."
"Even if he might be married?" the question came up as expected.
"Um, even if it's like that, sister will stand by your side and shield you," Daphne solemnly promised, not knowing how much she will regret her words in the near future.
