Amabel turned to face the old lady and flashed a grateful smile at her. "Thank you, aunty. I will surely reach out!" the color finally returning to her face.
Seeing her smiling again, Madam Langdale was filled with relief. It would be too bad if the little lass overthinks and affect her health. She was still waiting for her grandchild.
"I will be waiting," Madam Langdale responded. "Now, you better run and visit the hospital. Your mom must be waiting and anxious," she urged Amabel.
Amabel smiled brightly upon hearing that. "Then …. I will talk to you later. I have to go now. Take care of yourself when going out and don't move around on your own. There are a lot of rotten kids out there who bully the elderly," she started nagging like an old lady rendering Madam Langdale speechless and yet at the same time felt warmth coursing through her body.
