Thirty minutes later, Amabel was all smiles as she sent the attending doctor and nurses away.
Her mother had been checked again and the doctor happily shared the news that she was reacting, and responding. That was a piece of good news as it was showing that her mother could wake up at any given time.
After the attending doctor asked her when her mother started to respond and what she was doing, she shyly shared the news of her pregnancy. The attending doctor then attributed her mother's response to the good news. The doctor even encouraged her to come and talk to her mother as frequently as possible. The stimulation was useful.
As a filial daughter, Amabel readily greed to do so. Anyway, she didn't have much to do at the moment. So, visiting her mother frequently wouldn't be a problem.
After sending the doctor away, she sat by her mother's side, and shared the good news.
