Racine watched a million of people gather around polilo island all of them making a fortress with four rings, the first ring surround the whole island itself.
With so many hands helping it was build in spun of a week after the meeting a long gruesome debate ensued and some rajas decide not to join a few even decided to ally with each other making their own fortress for the wave and Racine don't blame them.
Now currently standing on the core of the fortress Racine can't help but feel uncomfortable remembering the prior fortress from before yet his eyes remain still on watching. From the top people was just so small almost similar to ants themselves.
Their faces completely unrecognizable and the only thing you could understand was their numbers. Perhaps that's the reason why those at the top never consider the sufferings of those from below.
They are so far apart that one would not recognize the other human anymore. That it breaths, thinks and feel things. That was probably how [Red] felt. Like little toy soldiers it played around not batting an eye if it accidentally step on a few and crushed a few.
"What's the long face?" Adriel stood beside Racine, "Scared?"
"No.. Actually I feel...empty" The brother's locked eyes, "I haven't been much of a help lately, People just drag other people towards me expecting me to just suddenly do things"
"I heard they brought you all sorts of people" Adriel gave Racine a pat on the back, "Are you angry that i told the others your a Healer? Its for your own good its bound to happen anyway"
"Shouldn't you at least told me you would do it?" Racine glared at him, "Now no matter what I did I always be blamed if anyone died because I wasn't around them when they are dying especially with the upcoming wave"
"So you really are angry about it" Adriel clicked his tounge, "You get used to it"
Racine grabbed Adriel by the collar, "Get used to it? Are you crazy? Why are you like this!? Why do you seems so aloof about everything happening Don't you think about how confusing everything is now?!"
Just as Adriel tried to speak a pop up window appeared before both of them even towards the others who was building below.
[World Quest: Offer [Kindness] To Others and Sacrifice me]
[Cleared]
[Peace with the Myths of Olden Days]
[Cleared]
[Reward: Temporary Peace and Buffs]
"It's cleared?" Racine loosen his grip on Adriel's collar, "Temporary Peace and Buff. Now I'm even more confused" Racine grab a handful of his hair, "Does that mean the myths like Zeus or something will help us?"
"We aren't exactly in Greece do we?" Adriel shot him down.
"Enough of this" Racine let out a sigh, "Instead how about i asked you something i been curious about with all that bling of yours"
"Say Adriel why does the mission only have survival and buffs I asked around and there wasn't any items at all other than those you distribute those that was manifested, made or taken from museums"
Racine looked at the Kampilan at Adriel's waist, "Do Monsters drop them? I haven't get any information from the guide"
Adriel's expression became distorted, "Awakened"
Racine felt his stomach drop, "What does that mean?"
"Items come from, Old artifacts of old times, Forged or Dead Awakeners but not just all dead awakeners they have to be at least in a certain level" Adriel explained, 'That's the reason why your wife only had her head left. Lyka died and the item she drop was her head that manifest nightmares'
"How did you know about that? Got something to do with your Mind's eye?" Racine inquired.
"No, You could actually read it on the description of the item who it belonged to and where it came from" Adriel took out his kampilan and hand it to Racine, "Try to see it for yourself"
Racine took the Kampilan and examined it, "Status Window" He said however nothing comes out so instead he just hand the kampilan back, "Doesn't work for me"
'I'm glad it didn't' Adriel thought to himself, 'After all it was the item you dropped when you died'
