Chapter 113 - Ending the Authority of the Imaginary! Battle… Otto!

"[Domination] has already been exhausted. [Binding] has also been temporarily nullified."

"But they bought me time—bought me an undisturbed stage."

"Allowing me to transcend the Herrschers…"

"And go straight to [Divinity]!"

At once—

As Otto's words rang out, everyone in the chat froze in shock!

What… did Otto mean by that?

[Domination] has been exhausted?!

[Binding] temporarily nullified?!

By now, everyone knew—

Otto already possessed the authorities of both Domination and Binding.

Just as he had said—

Step by step, he was acquiring the authority of a god!

But…

Could those authorities actually be used up?

Exchanged for time, for a field in which to act freely…

Had Otto already completed the leap from humanity to godhood?!

[Einstein: Binding and Domination…]

[March 7th: Aren't those the two authorities Otto possesses?!]

[Tesla: Damn it… don't tell me Otto is about to finish the ritual?!]

[Tesla: Are we too late?! Has his plan already succeeded?!]

[Ningguang: Has Otto already become a god?!]

[Fu Hua: The deal he made with the Will of Honkai…]

[Kiana: No—Otto's plan shouldn't be finished yet! There's still a chance!]

Within the scene—

"Damn it, what is that guy talking about?!"

Otto's words echoed faintly, as if laden with countless hidden meanings.

Kiana's heart tightened immediately—she feared that Otto's ultimate plan might already have succeeded.

Even though there was still a long way to go before the twelve hours Otto had mentioned—

For an existence like Otto—

Kiana found it impossible to believe that every word he revealed was the truth.

That he would let them understand it so easily—

That simply wasn't Otto Apocalypse!

And if Otto's plan truly succeeded…

Everyone knew exactly what that would mean.

"His plan… it hasn't already worked, has it?!"

"Don't lose focus! We just need to keep moving forward—and defeat the Archbishop!"

Durandal charged ahead at full speed!

Sensing Kiana's unease, she remained calm—as an elder sister should.

Golden hair streamed through the air!

Black Abyss in her hand struck again and again, clearing the path ahead and shattering the golden chains that continuously rose to block them!

Behind her—

Kiana's speed did not slow in the slightest.

With Durandal leading the charge and carving the way forward—

Kiana was steadily recovering her strength!

Preparing for the decisive battle to come!

And at that very moment—

Otto's godlike whisper continued.

"My heroes. I sincerely thank you."

"Whether in the past or the present, I have never wished to lie to you—nor to plunge you into despair."

"Of course, I also would not disregard your dignity by turning around and 'taking care' of you—"

"As for how to end the authority of the Imaginary…"

"That, I'll leave for you to figure out yourselves."

"That shouldn't be too much of an obstacle, should it?"

[Tesla: What the hell is this guy saying?!]

[Sushang: He… he's thanking Kiana and the others??]

[Sushang: If this is how he treats people he's 'grateful' to, I don't even dare imagine what happens to those he hates!]

[Tesla: This hypocrite actually dares say he's never lied to us?!]

[Rita: If… we look strictly at the facts, Lord Otto does seem to… rarely lie…]

[March 7th: Wait… that actually sounds right…]

[Paimon: Red Kite Immortal, I didn't lie—bang!]

[Lumine: Paimon, stop talking nonsense!]

[Fu Hua: ]

[Durandal: The Archbishop indeed… seldom lies. In fact, I don't recall a single instance.]

[Hu Tao: How can this be… he's clearly such a fake guy…]

[Einstein: But—]

[Einstein: Otto's selective truth-telling is what makes him truly terrifying.]

[March 7th: That… actually makes sense!]

[March 7th: He always tells the truth—but never the whole truth! Half spoken, half hidden!]

[Kiana: But what does the second half of what he said even mean?!]

[Tesla: Ending the authority of the Imaginary?]

[Tesla: The way he says it… it almost sounds like he's helping us?!]

[Durandal: No matter what the Archbishop says, defeating him comes first!]

In the chat—

Those who had personally witnessed Otto's cruelty toward others naturally scoffed at his words.

(Grateful?)

(Unwilling to lie?)

(Taking care of you?)

Every sentence sounded like mockery aimed straight at the people of the Hyperion.

But upon closer reflection—

A chilling realization dawned on them.

Otto… really didn't lie outright.

In fact—

Every time Otto wore that elegant smile and spoke magnanimously of his grand goals and lofty ideals—

What he said… always seemed to be the truth.

Even before many of his conspiracies unfolded—

Otto would openly state his objectives and plans.

The problem was—

Just as Dr. Einstein had said—

Otto talked a lot, even revealing his plans—

But he never told the whole story.

He selectively disclosed fragments of the truth, then wrapped them in ambiguous, deeply misleading language—

Guiding others' thoughts without them even realizing it.

That was what made Otto truly terrifying.

He was a master manipulator of the human heart.

The head of a power structure that had ruled the world for over five centuries.

A grand conspirator whose schemes encompassed all of humanity—and even the Will of Honkai itself!

So—

Otto's words could be listened to, even pondered for their deeper meaning.

But they could never be fully trusted.

Within the scene—

Durandal and Kiana clearly chose the simplest approach.

Total disregard.

Like lightning and wind—

Kiana let out a sharp cry.

"I can see the ground!"

After Durandal shattered one final horizontal chain—

"Prepare to land—entering the next phase of combat!"

With a leap forward—

Kiana followed close behind!

Boom!!

A heavy impact!

Dust billowed into the air!

The ground trembled faintly beneath their feet!!

The two of them had landed squarely—

Inside the cathedral itself!!

From dozens—perhaps even hundreds—of meters above!

Outside the screen, everyone felt their spirits lift.

(Is it coming?!)

(The final… decisive battle!!)

As the dust slowly settled—

Kiana looked toward the distance.

At the center of the cathedral—

A blazing, seed-like core wreathed in fierce flames, tightly bound by twisting vines.

"That's the Seed of Nothingness?!"

Immediately, Durandal and Kiana exchanged a glance.

Everything was understood without a word.

If they could destroy that Seed of Nothingness—

But—

At that very instant!

Otto's voice rang out sharply.

"Wait."

In a flash—

The two of them, along with everyone watching, stiffened in alarm.

Their gazes snapped to the center of the cathedral.

As the voice fell—

Otto, still dressed in his immaculate, flowing archbishop's robes—

Slowly walked to stand before the Seed of Nothingness.

Facing Kiana and Durandal.

"As the host of this place,"

"How could I possibly fail—"

"To show proper hospitality?"

Otto spoke calmly, his voice gentle and low.

As he spoke—

He placed his right hand over his chest and bowed deeply.

Every movement, every gesture—

Exuded the elegance of a true noble.

Yet the pressure it brought made Kiana and Durandal tighten their grips on their weapons.

Before the screen—

Everyone held their breath.

Because they knew—

Just how terrifying the man before them was, beneath that refined grace.
