Darkness
Cold.
And silence.
These were the things Jack felt and noticed when he opened his eyes under a frozen lake.
He didn't know how he got there and he didn't even know who he was.
However, the moon from above shone down on him, any its silver colored light pierced through the water.
Jack reached upward and broke through the ice.
Then, he pulled himself out.
The cold, night air hit his face and he coughed as his body began shivering while he looked around.
Snow drifted on the wind, trees stood tall and bare. Everything was quiet.
Jack wrapped his arms around himself as he glanced around the unfamiliar trees and surrounding.
"Where… am I?" he whispered.
But that was when he noticed his hands which were pale and glowing faintly with frost.
However, a soft chime suddenly rang in his mind, like a bell and then words appeared before his eyes:
[Frost System Activated]
[Congratulations to the host, you've acquired The Frost System.]
Noticing this, Jack stumbled back. "Huh...? What the...?"
"What is this?"
Jack uttered softly, but then a new screen popped up in front of him.
[ First Skill Acquired: Frost Touch]
"Frost touch?" Jack repeated the words on the screen but then he noticed the tree standing next to him.
Then he placed his hand on the trunk of the tree and instantly, white colored ice spread from his fingers before crawling over the bark of the tree.
Seeing this, Jack gasped in surprise before pulling his hand away in shock.
Meanwhile, snow crunched under his bare feet as he stumbled around but he didn't understand what was going on and why he was here.
In fact, why was he seeing a weird glowing blue screen in front of him and how was it even possible for him to freeze a tree just by simply touching it?
These were the few questions that spiraled within his mind but then Jack looked up at the full moon in the sky.
And for a moment, he thought he heard a voice.
Actually, it sounded like a whisper, carried by the wind, but he was certain that the word spoken in the whisper was directed to him.
"…Jack Frost."
"Jack.... Frost? Is that.....me?"
The name felt strange and unfamiliar, but strangely it felt comforting at the same time.
Jack whispered it again as he held on to his new name like it was the only thing he had right now.
Well, it was the only thing he had right now, so he had no choice but to familiarize himself with his new name.
However, the System chimed once again.
[Ding!! Quest: Try To Know More About Your New Powers.]
Jack stared at the glowing letters, hovering in front of him.
Then he stared at his frosted hand, and slowly, a smile tugged at his lips as he tries his best to embrace his new life.
He didn't know why he was here, or who the voice belonged to… but to him, one thing was certain.
He was now Jack Frost. And he was going to do everything it takes to know more about himself and the new strange powers stirring within him.

I've never written a fanfiction before
So, please be informed that this will be the first time I'm writing something like this.
It might not be perfect but I don't really care.
I just want to get this story out of my head.
It's been disturbing me for more than five years now.
