Bruce now in confusion and disbelief left the tent and headed straight home to look for answers from non other than his father. On arrival he met the house empty and silent with a piece of paper dancing in the wind from the fridge. The heads over to it and saw a note written on it.
'Hey son, it's me your dad. I know we really haven't even talking much lately, so i assume that's why you left for three days, nine hours and forty-two minutes -yeah I've been counting. If you do come back - I hope you do - I left dinner in the fridge, Ēmovò-Avkvā you favourite. There are some things I should gave told but i didn't. I know you're hunting for answers and i also know i can't stop you but I would advice you to be careful.

With tears in his eyes, Bruce dashed off to 'Earth's Laboratory' or Earth Lab In short where his dad works. He passed by security clearance and navigated his way to his dad office. He slammed the door open without knocking.
"What really happened to mo..." He was cought short of words as he saw his dad injecting hiself with an odd looking liquid. Almost immediately staffs and security guards came in to seize Bruce but Professor Jaden came in and de-escalated the situation.
"Are you okey dad?" Bruce asked.
"The syringe? It .... it's a.. project okey. Don't worry about it" professor Jaden assured.
"Is it dangerous?" Bruce couldn't help but ask.
"I said don't worry about it" professor Jaden said as he immediately hid the syringe and its contents inside sealed closet. Bruce brushed off his dad reaction and went straight to the reason he was there.
"Dad where's mom?" Bride asked
" Where have you been?" Professor Jaden tried to change the topic.
" What happened to my mother?" Bruce shouted. Professor Jaden took a deep breath before walking over to the polished window, gazing at the vibrant city. He stood there without uttering a word.
"Please dad.... I just want to know who my mom was" Bruce begged.
" You already know who your mom is"
"Is"
"Was, she got missing when you were three months old and must be long gone by now" professor Jaden said in a low tone.
Bruce didn't say anything as he had seen his dad's face through his reflection on the window. Professor Jaden wiped his eyes with a handkerchief he had with him before turning over to his son.
" Why are you asking this now? You left for three days, do you have any idea how I felt? Did it occurred to you that I would be bothered?" Professor Jaden yelled.
" I'm sorry I went looking for answers, i thought you knew." Bruce said boldly
"There's a lot of things you don't know about young man-" professor Jaden yelled as he pointed at Bruce.
"Then tell me" Bruce demanded angrily. "I...I..I can't. Elena Anabel is dead, and there's nothing anybody can do about it, not even me." Professor Jaden said.
" Elena Anabel?" Bruce whispered. Professor Jaden sighed in regret. "You told me my mother's name was Felishia. What are you hiding dad?"
"Stop asking this questions" professor Jaden said moving close to Bruce in attempt to rest his hand on his shoulder.
"You've been lying to me. You're lied to me my whole life" Bruce said angrily with tears dripping down his eyes. "No son" professor Jaden said still moving closer to Bruce"
" How could you?"
"Listen to me son.. your mom is not who you think she is" professor Jaden tried to explain
" Don't ever... Call me your son, ever" Bruce said taking steps back towards the door.
"Son please..."
"I said, don't.., call me.., your son" Bruce insisted as he held the door handle. "I don't even know who you are"
"I'm your dad--"
Wrong.. you're not.. you're not my dad..., you wanna know what you are..? You're a monster" Bruce yelled as he immediately left the office slamming the door in the process. His agitated father - professor Jaden - rushed towards the door knocking down everything in the way as he bang the door out of frustration.
Burning with rage, professor Jaden rushed to his table knocking down everything on it as he yelled loudly. His assistant - professor Ahmeed - heard of the disturbance coming from professor Jaden's office and quickly came in to examine the cause. He was met with the sight of professor Jaden panting heavily and mixing chemical together -the same chemical Bruce saw him with earlier.
"Professor? " Professor Ahmeed called. "Professor?" He called again. " Professor please put down test 67." Professor Ahmeed pleaded.
"Ahmeed my good...good friend" professor Jaden finally spoke up but in a very deep voice - deeper that usual.
"Yes professor" professor Ahmeed answered. "You don't happen to remember patient 666, do you?" Professor Jaden asked.
"The patient with the wrong formula? Yes I...umm.. I very much do professor" professor Ahmeed replied.
"So you're aware of the super human ability he derived from those..um.. miraculous chemicals of ours, aren't you?" Professor Jaden asked while leading the chemicals into s syringe.
"I was aware patient 666 was declared dead due to the result of imbalanced chemicals reactions" professor Ahmeed said moving closer to professor Jaden. "I don't think you should be doing this professor"
"It's not your call to make, it's mine. And besides we're this close to perfecting the formula, we just need one more test" professor Jaden said as he tied his right hand to reveal his veins.
"You have a son professor" professor Ahmeed pleaded
"Had a son, he doesn't see me as his father anymore..."
"Please professor..."
"He called me a monster " professor Jaden said and gave a sinister chuckle.
"Be reasonable "
"So.. I'm going to show him what a real monster looks like" professor Jaden said as he injected hiself.
"No professor" professor Ahmeed shouted and ran over to professor Jaden.
"S.. stop., ugh.. Don't.. Don't come any..... Closer" professor Jaden said as he kept Straining and breathing when he got the space to.
"What have you done"professor Ahmeed whispered.
The lights stared flickering as monitors malfunctioned. Professor Jaden got up screaming as spots started forming on his skin. His clothes burned from within and all facial hairs followed suit. As soon as the anomalies started, professor Ahmeed wasted no time to activate the emergency button. The light turned red as siren rung across the building while professor Jaden on the other hand continued bustling around. He knocked down everything in his path as the lights gave out, leaving the office in complete darkness except the red glow that penetrated through professor Jaden's body.
Professor Jaden came to a halt as he landed on his hand face down. The office was left in silence with the noice of staffs trying to figure out what caused the outage. Professor Ahmeed who was still in the office witnessed all the events that took place
"Professor..., professor.., can you hear me?" Professor Ahmeed called out.
" Professor Jaden replied with a deep breath as tick smoke came rushing out of his nose.
Professor Ahmeed's hand hovered over the emergency lockdown button as he stared at the lava like creature professor Jaden had just turned into.
"Ahmeed " the creature called out
"Is that you professor?" Professor Ahmeed asked with an uneasy voice.
"Ahmeed " the creature called out again.
"I hear you professor "
The creature took in a very loud deep breath before talking again, "RUN!".
Professor Ahmeed slammed the emergency lockdown button and dashed out of the office.
The creature looked up with it's burning red eye and repeated "RUN!".
