At some point, I stopped waking up afraid of myself. That alone felt like a miracle. I no longer checked my thoughts anxiously or waited for temptation to ambush me. Instead, I woke up with intention. With awareness. With peace that didn't depend on how strong I felt that day.
Healing had settled into my life quietly. Not as excitement, not as noise—but as stability.
I noticed that my mind felt clearer. I could focus longer. I could pray without rushing. I could sit still without feeling restless. These were small things, but to me, they were signs of real change. The kind that lasts.
I realized that lust no longer controlled my schedule, my emotions, or my secrecy. It no longer dictated when I felt confident or ashamed. It had lost its authority.
And that's when purpose began to surface.
I didn't hear a loud call or have a dramatic moment. Purpose came as a gentle burden. A quiet awareness that my journey wasn't just for me. That everything I had walked through carried meaning beyond my own healing.

So I chose restraint.
Sometimes, helping others didn't mean talking. It meant listening. It meant praying silently. It meant being consistent. It meant living in a way that showed freedom was possible without explaining everything.
I also learned to respect my season. I wasn't called to fix anyone. I was called to stay whole.
There were moments when old thoughts tried to return—not with force, but with familiarity. They came like memories rather than urges. And I learned not to fear them.
I let them pass.
I didn't wrestle them. I didn't analyze them. I didn't panic. I had learned that not every thought deserves attention. Some thoughts only have power because we give them time.
And with each moment I chose calm over chaos, my confidence deepened.
I also became more intentional about my future. I thought about the kind of woman I wanted to be. The values I wanted to carry. The boundaries I would hold.
I knew now that purity wasn't just about avoiding certain actions—it was about protecting my heart, my identity, and my purpose.
I stopped asking, "Is this allowed?"
And started asking, "Is this wise?"

I forgave her completely.
