The whispers had not died down since Han Fuji said his name.
People kept staring at him like he was some strange creature that had suddenly appeared in the middle of the road.
Fu Fong's face looked terrible.
"You think a few clever words can scare me?" he sneered. "Those children are Fu blood. They belong to the Fu family."
Before Han Fuji could reply, an old voice suddenly spoke.

Everyone turned.
Grandfather Fu slowly stepped forward, leaning on his cane. His expression was serious as he looked straight at Fu Fong.
"Have you embarrassed this family enough?" he asked coldly.
Fu Fong stiffened.
"Grandfather… this is between me and her."
Grandfather Fu's cane hit the ground once.
"A man who raises his hand against his wife in public has no right to talk about dignity."
A ripple of murmurs passed through the crowd
Fu Fong's face turned red with anger
"If there is a divorce," Grandfather Fu continued firmly, "the children should stay with Bai Ming."
