Canarie looked at her maid with disappointed eyes. She was tired of all these needless formalities she had to go through even when Emperor Kaiden was not here.
Her eyes looked over the overly impressive dress that was surely taken out of Princess Danielle's 'special' wardrobe, and Canarie shook her head at her maid.
"Do I have to dress like this? I have my own. Besides, the one I want to show off my beauty to is not even here…"
Canarie reminded the maid, only for the maid to give her a harsh look that made her shrink back.
"Lady Canarie, please look at the bigger picture here. Now that Emperor Kaiden and that…'pest' are no longer here, you can get close to Prince Caelis and Rin. They are at an age where they can be easily influenced by things. So if you wear a dress as glamorous as this, they would surely feel curious about you."
