Chapter 6 - Chapter 6. Who are you?

Dalvvar was not intrigued to help this human, if it wasn't for Zaril'n he wouldn't be here. He knew the little demon's strange liking so he was willing to help.

" Human I don't think your human I'sss on these floors," spoke Dalvvar pulling his s's.

" Why do you say of such?" asked Ehzia' turning from Zaril'n who too had turned to Dalvvar.

" Reason. I believe she might be on the second floor," responded Dalvvar.

" What?" both Zaril'n and Ehzia said in chorus.

"The second? I've never been that far," admitted Zaril'n.

" Why so far?" asked Ehzia sounding desperate.

" How does man reach hell human?" asked Dalvvar instead of answering. His gaze was lowered to Ehzia, looking at the man closely.

Ehzia did not answer rolling his eyes to his feet, he knew the truth. Thinking about it he knew why, but he did not want to leave his wife behind.

Zaril'n wasn't stupid, while he didn't know the fine details is knew that Ehzia's human must had done something grave if she was all the way on the second floor.

Seeing the light dim from Ehzia Zaril'n decided to find a bright side.

" Let's check the second floor Sir, maybe she isn't even their," Zaril'n suggested.

"No,"

" But she's your wife Sir. Don't you love her? We did come all this way," Ehzia remained quiet. Was he to travel through that much sin for his wife, after all she was the reason why she was down there.

Why should he travel on such filthy soil. But then he looked up at Zaril'n before smiling to himself.

" Let's go,"

Dalvvar watched too two in silence, he felt a tinge of pity Ehzia, but even more so of Zaril'n, the little demon didn't even realize he was pulling a soul further to hell. Far, far, far away from help and redemption. How contradictive thought Dalvvar, but none of this did he really too care about.

" Let's just go to the second floor and look,"

" Yes let's do that," Ehzia agreed.

" We'll go to the second floor Dalvvar," said Zaril'n sounding happy again.

The creature did not utter a word, rather he bowed his body for them to climb on, which they did. It took a few nights when they finally landed. Zaril'n thanked Dalvvar and Ehzia did too, not long after they turned to leave.

" Walk straight," said Dalvvar as they walk off.

As the two kept walking they noticed that their eyes weren't seeing far. The way before them looked blurred. It was strange, but they remembered Dalvvar's words so they kept walking having few conversations here and there.

They eventually stopped when their eyes could no longer see further. They felt something like a barrier that was repelling them, but either way they walked forward.

At first all was pitch black and quiet, but then they heard soft, glorious, magnificent music being played. Slowly their vision came to them, and when it did they seem to be in a whole new world.

Neither Zaril'n or Ehzia could believe their eyes, especially Ehzia.

" Where are we?" Ehzia uttered in shock and disbelief. He looked down at the luscious green grass, beautiful palm and other trees, a waterfall, and heart warming music. This could not be hell, how what peaceful feeling it gave.

There was a large stone fountain with the clearest of water that sprayed upwards. Built in stream like rivers were seen carved into the ground. Large leaves were seen resting on the water's surface. It remained him of lily pads. Next he saw a few small and strange, blue greenish creatures that had two front web legs and two tails behind them.

He had never seen such beings before.

But not only that, he saw a ball of light in the sky seemingly the sun, it was the first time he saw such pure warm light, all the other times it was reddish atmosphere.

Ehzia turned to Zaril'n in hopes that he might have answers, but when he looked at the demon he was just as astonished as he knelt the ground his eyes captured by the vibrant green grass. Zaril'n carefully ran his hand over their pointy tips and he was amazed. Suddenly before anything else could he done they heard a voice.

" Who goes there,"

Ehzia did not know how to move his body taken back by the heavenly scenery.

" It's beautiful," Ehzia' murmured moved to tears.

" I said who goes there?" a voice repeated.

Both Zaril'n and Ehzia turned to the source of noise, but they saw nothing. It didn't take long before images magically appeared into view. All around them were people in long silk robe attire of all colours and pattern.

Where the fountain was they saw six figures with there clothes floating in the water. They had flutes and harps playing music. This was the source of the glorious tunes they heard.

" I said who goes there," the same calm voice repeated again.

Ehzia looked at the man before him he was magnificent, far beyond that words could comprehend. He had long golden hair that raced all the way to his waist. Soft, but bold amber, bright eyes. His robe was yellow with golden and red patterns. Zaril'n too was shocked, but there was a sense of familiarity that prevented him from shock.

" My'a name is'a Zaril'n, I'ma from the lower floor," started Zaril'n a stutter in his speech.

" Silence demon," spoke the same voice, his tone did not carry seriousness or command, it was calm. But Zaril'n felt the need to obey.

" Now you're a human, how odd," said the voice tilting his head.

What did this person mean. He too was a human, or at least he looked like one. Ehzia saw no horns, no markings, no wings, heard no demon tongue.

" Can you speak?" asked the figure.

" I can," answered Ehzia, the music was still in the background, but now he heard soft pleasant hums.

" Then again, who are you? I do not wish to ask again. Patience is one of my very thin virtues,"
