Feeling the power of the armor on his body, Obadiah Stane wanted to grin and laugh up at the sky.

"Potts, it's no use even if you leave. Your Stark is waiting for you in hell. He wants to close the weapons division to wash the blood from his hands. I'm telling you, that's impossible. Stark has been in the arms business for decades, and he still wants to go to heaven. What a joke!"

The more Obadiah Stane spoke, the more excited he became. He controlled the mechanical arm to raise it, and the small grenade launcher equipped on it popped out, aimed, and fired at the few people fleeing not far ahead.

Phil Coulson, who was fleeing for his life, instinctively looked back to observe the Iron Monger's movements, but the moment he turned around, he was scared out of his wits. What did he see? Was that a grenade launcher? Did that damned hunk of iron carry an armory on its back?

Although no longer young, Phil Coulson was, after all, a top Agent. He immediately dodged, throwing himself to one side towards Pepper Potts. At the same time, he kicked hard with his right foot, slamming it into the chest of the rookie Agent Dak, kicking him away from his original position.

Whoosh!

The grenade almost grazed Phil Coulson's body as it flew past.

"Shit!"

The grenade hit a small factory building in the Stark Industries park. A violent explosion occurred, and flames, dust, and factory debris flew towards everyone.

"Head, what do we do? Our weapons have no effect on this hunk of iron!" The rookie Agent Dak quickly got up from the ground, ignoring the pain in his chest, and nimbly came to Phil Coulson, helping Pepper Potts up from the ground and running away with her.

This rookie Agent finally showed the excellent physical qualities mentioned in his file, running faster with an adult female than Phil Coulson.

"Dak, calm down. The weapons equipped on the armor behind us have very poor accuracy, and its movements are not flexible. We just need to kite him around the park and hold out until headquarters' support arrives."

"Keep shooting. Although it has no effect, it can still slow him down and buy us more time."

After saying these words, Phil Coulson began to feel puzzled. He felt that the rookie Dak's quality level was different from what he remembered. In his memory, the rookie Dak's level was very good. The first time he went on a mission, he happened to encounter The Hand fighting in Fisk Tower, and the other party's judgment and execution were very impressive.

He even recommended this newcomer to Director Nick Fury for this. This mission was also because he remembered the other party's excellent performance and specifically brought him to gain experience, but the other party's current performance really disappointed him. Except for physical fitness, other aspects were like a rookie.

In fact, what Phil Coulson didn't know was that all the memories of Agent Dak's excellent performance in his mind were fabricated and implanted by Makima. The truth was that the rookie Agent Dak had always been at this level, with no improvement or regression.

Phil Coulson just thought this subconsciously and didn't delve into it, continuing to evade the Iron Monger's attacks.

Seeing that the grenades he fired were dodged by the men in black suits, Obadiah Stane frowned. What were those damned engineers doing? The aiming system was so bad. They were a bunch of good-for-nothings.

Obadiah Stane decided to deal with Pepper Potts and these two men in black suits, then fire those good-for-nothing engineers. He again controlled the mechanical arm to raise, and the aiming system prepared. He was going to fire another shell.

Having aimed at Pepper Potts, Obadiah Stane was about to fire the grenade, when suddenly a whistling wind came, accompanied by a familiar voice.

"It's 'eagle catches chick' time!"

"How is he still alive!?"

Obadiah Stane's body shook. He hadn't seen Tony Stark die with his own eyes, but he knew that the miniature Arc Reactor in Tony Stark's chest was used to hold the shrapnel in his body. According to the effect of that nerve paralysis device, he should have died from the shrapnel entering his heart before he regained his ability to move.

He knew Tony Stark's Jarvis was powerful, so he used his authority to shut down Jarvis in Tony Stark's Villa and turned off the main power. No one could have gotten in to help him, unless he had anticipated his actions and made an emergency plan.

"Evil Stark!"

Just as he thought of this, a hunk of iron directly crashed into the Iron Monger's head. The two silver Iron Men began to roll around in the Stark park, directly crashing onto the street outside the park.

The Mark II was still the one Tony Stark built after he returned from the Afghanistan cave, and it hadn't yet been painted with his classic paint job.

"Why did you come back? Wasn't it good to stay in hell!"

The Iron Monger was not very functional; its only advantage was that it was sturdy and durable, and powerful. It grabbed Tony Stark, who was constantly destroying its head, and threw him away.

The Mark II crashed heavily onto an old Chevrolet parked by the roadside. With a burst of sparks, the old antique turned into a car pancake.

Phil Coulson, who had just felt saved, looked at the two Iron Men wrestling and then froze. Even a seasoned Agent like him couldn't control his emotions for a moment.

"No!!!"

"Laura, my Laura!"

That's right, the flattened antique Chevrolet was Phil Coulson's treasure. He had put a lot of effort into getting this high-tech retro model from the technical department. He had been maintaining it for two years, and now it was flattened in front of him by two Iron Men.

"Head, accept my condolences."

The rookie Agent Dak came over, patted Coulson's shoulder, and expressed sympathy.

Phil Coulson's mouth twitched, but he couldn't force a smile.

On the other side, Tony Stark and Obadiah Stane were actually engaging in close-quarters combat in their armors. The reason was this: because the Mark II was Tony Stark's experimental version, it didn't have too many weapons installed on it.

And because he was in a hurry to get there, he didn't have time to modify it at all. Now, the only usable weapons were the repulsor rays in his two palms.

Furthermore, due to an injury to his right arm, the right arm armor could only be fixed in position, making it impossible to flexibly use the repulsor ray on it. So, only the repulsor ray on his left palm was usable.

Tony Stark had no choice but to engage in close-quarters combat. He never fought unprepared, and he had prepared a trump card.

As for why the Iron Monger engaged in close-quarters combat with Tony Stark, the reason was simple: Tony Stark's movements were too fast, and the Iron Monger's weapon system simply couldn't aim, so it was forced to fight Tony Stark up close.

"Meow, this scene is terrible, isn't it?"

On the roof of a factory building not far away, a gray cat was holding a camera and recording the battle of the two Iron Men below, mimicking a reporter's actions.

"Humans are just so stupid. They always like to use high technology to do the most primitive things. If this great king were to act, that big guy wouldn't even be able to get close to this great king, meow."
