After catching his breath for a few more seconds, Old Steve finally regulated his breathing. With a look of defeat, he said, "Kid, how did you train? How did you suddenly run so fast? You definitely couldn't outrun an old man like me before."

"Old man, this is where you don't understand. There are always some people in the World who are exceptionally gifted in specific areas. It just so happens that I am very talented in physical fitness. A short period of training can allow me to surpass top athletes. Old man, you don't need to be discouraged; it's normal not to be able to compete with me."

Lionel being able to run faster than Old Captain America was certainly not because he was exceptionally gifted. No matter how gifted, he couldn't surpass someone who was enhanced.

It was because the [Entry] [Human Engineering] had upgraded to Lv2, causing Lionel's physical fitness to exceed the limits of normal humans, and also surpassed this tech-enhanced strong man. However, Lionel also encountered some problems, which was that conventional exercise could no longer increase the experience of [Human Engineering].

That sprint just now, which left Old Captain America in the dust, only provided half an experience point. As for why it was half, it was because Lionel could feel the Entry's experience had increased, but it hadn't accumulated enough for one full experience point to be displayed.

Thinking of this, Lionel patted Old Steve's shoulder, as if comforting his dejected heart.

[Entry] — — [I Can Do This All Day]: Equipping this Entry will greatly increase your stamina. An unyielding will allows you to keep fighting. Note: Getting hit also counts as fighting.

[Entry] — — [On Your Left]: Equipping this Entry allows you to quickly overtake a target on its left. Note: No restrictions on mode of movement.

[Entry] — — [Time Borrower]: You can send things to the future.

Old man, you dropped quite a lot of gold coins.

The effect of the first Entry was mediocre; it only increased stamina. And this "getting hit also counts as fighting"—does that mean getting beaten by an enemy all day? If so, this Entry might still be somewhat useful. At least it would ensure not being beaten to death by an enemy within one day. By the second day, he could use [Legendary Kill-Resistant King] to recover. This was practically a perpetual motion machine.

Lionel suddenly thought of a combination skill with the two Entries [I Can Do This All Day] and [Legendary Kill-Resistant King] in his mind, but whether it would succeed, he didn't know. Whether the Entry could guarantee not being beaten to death was also uncertain. He certainly couldn't use himself or those around him for experiments, so how to verify this Entry became a problem.

As for the second Entry, this was practically a conceptual skill. As long as he was on the left side, he could quickly overtake the target. This meant that as long as he selected the target well, he could achieve high-speed movement, and there were no restrictions on the mode of transportation.

If this Entry was used while driving a certain vehicle, for example, driving a race car on a track, he would become the most dazzling individual on the entire track. Or, if the target was set as an airplane in the sky or a certain Iron Man, then he could achieve ground movement speeds exceeding an airplane.

He wasn't sure what the criteria for selecting a target were. After asking this old man some questions, he would find something to try it out on.

As for the last Entry, Lionel felt it was very suitable for making traps. The description said it could send currently existing things to the future. If sending physical objects, he could send weapons like bombs or bullets to the future. As long as the time was calculated correctly, he could create traps that were impossible to observe or prevent. If it was to send out an attack to the future, the effect would be even better.

With a quick thought, Lionel came up with many uses for the [Time Borrower] Entry, and this Entry definitely had more functions that could be developed.

Lionel took out his phone from his pocket, fiddled with the screen a few times, then turned the screen towards Old Steve and said, "Old man, do you know these guys? They're very popular recently. He even uses the Star-Spangled Banner as a cape. In my memory, the last one to dress like that was Captain America during World War II."

"What? Captain America! Where is he? Let me see."

Hearing the keywords, Old Steve immediately perked up and leaned in to look at the phone screen.

Then came the classic expression of an old man on the subway looking at a phone.

"Oh my god, he can fly!"

Old Steve exclaimed in surprise.

"Old Tight-Ass, don't you have any other thoughts?" Looking at Old Captain America's expression, unless he really had senile dementia, it meant that in his timeline, there really was no Homelander and Vought Corporation.

"What Old Tight-Ass?" Old Steve's attention focused on a strange point.

Lionel's face darkened. "I think you're deliberately playing dumb."

"Old man, this Star-Spangled Banner guy is called Homelander, a celebrity superhuman launched by Vought Corporation. Do you have any impression of him?"

"Vought Corporation? Celebrity superhuman?" Old Steve was confused again. He had never heard of these things, nor had he seen them in his timeline.

At this point, Old Steve finally realized the problem. This timeline and his timeline were too different. Whether it was Little Spider getting older, or this Homelander appearing for unknown reasons, both were too different from the original timeline.

Initially, Old Steve only thought it was a small butterfly effect caused by his arrival in this timeline, making Little Spider a bit older. Banner had also told him before he traveled that his time travel would cause small or large changes to the timeline, but it was impossible for an unheard-of Vought Corporation and a Superman-replica Homelander to appear out of thin air.

"You haven't heard of him?"

Old Steve felt a bit dizzy. Hearing Lionel's question, he replied, "This is the first time I've known about this Homelander. I'm old, and I rarely pay attention to outside news."

Lionel asked again:

"I see. Old man, I remember you said you were over eighty, right? So you must have lived through World War II. I heard someone say there was a superhero as famous as Captain America back then, but I can't remember his name. Do you know what he was called?"

"Ah? Was there such a guy? Could it be—"

"Hmm?"

"Could it be Red Skull!"

Lionel's face fell. This old man must have senile dementia.

Old Captain America laughed, "Just kidding. I didn't hear of any superheroes besides Captain America in that era."

Alright, it can be confirmed that this Old Captain America in front of him is not from this timeline at all. Even if this Old Captain America had forgotten some past memories due to old age, it's impossible for him to forget something as iconic as Homelander and Vought Corporation.

---

Manhattan, New York, is the economic center of New York. The headquarters of behemoths like Stark and Osborn are located here. And now, something is happening here that makes people question whether they are awake.

Homelander is undergoing illegal modifications—no, Homelander is carrying out building construction, but his method of construction is very novel.

Homelander, wearing his iconic battle suit, flew in mid-air, cutting the top of the Vought Tower with his heat vision, and then lifting the cut-off sections of the building, moving them piece by piece from the top floor to the base of the building.
