Ugly didn't even begin to describe it.
Tony blinked. "New invention? That thing's horrifying."
"Shut up, Uncle Tony. This invention is extremely useful."
"Oh? What does it do?"
"I call it the Ugly Woman Mask. It scans a person's body image and analyzes muscle density, neural development, weight balance, and more…"
In simple terms:
It converted physical fitness into numerical data.
No battle awareness. No experience. No special powers. Just raw body stats.
Aizen pushed up his glasses with interest. As both an S-Rank hero and a scientist, he immediately saw the flaw.
Useful reference. Very one-sided.
"I set Mumen Rider as the baseline. His physical stats equal 1."
"The Dark Flame Dragon Blade User is about 8. Captain America is about 40."
"With this as the scale, we can estimate everyone's physical strength."
Everyone understood instantly.
Mumen Rider, tragically, had become the official unit of measurement.
Wearing the mask, Child Emperor scanned Gareth Ironblade.
"Hmm. Around 4000."
Tony: "WHAT THE HELL?!"
If Captain America's twenty-ton strength equaled 40…
Then 4000 meant roughly two thousand tons.
"That's not human!"
Child Emperor turned to Tony.
"As for you…"
"How much?"
"Detection failed."
"…Huh?"
"When the body is too weak, errors like this occur. You should exercise more, Uncle Tony. You're basically at normal sedentary human level. For reference, I'm 50."
Tony went silent.
A decimal would've hurt less.
"Next, King."
King's Imperial Engine thundered in his chest.
I'm finished. This is where the lie ends.
Child Emperor stared.
"…Huh?!"
"What?"
"King's stats… also cannot be detected?"
"Is he that weak?!"
"No," Child Emperor said calmly. "This happens in two cases. Too weak… or too strong. I assume King is the latter."
Silence.
Aizen was scanned next.
No data. Spiritual body.
Then Aiden Cross.
The mask looked at him.
Crack.
A visible fracture appeared. The device short-circuited and died.
"…Broken?" Child Emperor blinked.
Tony laughed. "Your toy needs better durability."
Aizen stepped forward calmly.
"Interesting device. But true strength… is best seen in battle."
King's Imperial Engine roared louder.
We're really fighting, aren't we…
Aiden Cross spoke lightly.
"Aizen. Don't go overboard. King is still a normal person."
"Understood, Boss."
Aizen slowly drew the blade at his waist.
The air turned cold as steel reflected dim light.
Eidolon.
In an instant—
Everyone except Aiden Cross fell into illusion without realizing it.
Absolute Hypnosis. Control of the five senses. Appearance, shape, touch, smell, even energy perception.
Anyone who had once seen the release… was already trapped.
Only those with extreme instinct could sense something wrong.
And the only counter?
Touch the blade before activation.
Aizen's voice was gentle.
"Shatter… Eidolon."
