"Ooh, look!" Hermione ran over to the window to look. The newest model broom was displayed behind the glass window. "Ginny would love that!"
Draco sighed and readjusted the bags on his arms. "How much longer are you going to shop?"
Completely ignoring him, Hermione ran into the store. A few minutes later she came out with a broom in her arms. Doing a quick transmogrification spell to make the broom look like a quill. She then dropped it into Harry's bag. "Easier to carry." Hermione hummed.
"Who all do you have left to buy for?"
Hermione smiled up at him. "Just my mum, dad, and Ron. Why? Don't tell me you're ready to leave, we've only been shopping for an hour!"
Draco draped his free arm over her shoulder and leaned in close. "Is it so hard to believe that I would rather be
out of this cold and somewhere warm wrapped in my girlfriend's arms." He gave her his famous smirk and his eyes lowered to linger on her lips.
Hermione felt the heat rising to her face at his suggestion. To save herself from a mocking comment, she ducked out of his arm. She turned so that her back was to him. "Well, I like shopping." She rubbed her hands together to give them something to do, she would not reach for Draco and claim his lips like she wanted to.
Draco sighed in defeat. "Fine. The sooner you finish, the sooner we can get back home." Technically his home but he was hoping that one day his little bookworm would call it home too, if he ever gathered the courage to ask her. "What did you buy me?" He asked as an after thought. She hadn't named off his name on the list of people still to buy for and for all that he knew, she hadn't bought anything for him in their little outing so far.
His little witch turned around and gave him a wicked smile that sent his heart fluttering. "I didn't buy you anything." She turned around and started heading for a store that sold jewelry. His lips tucked down into a frown. She wasn't going to get him anything for Christmas? He dug out his wand and aimed it for her hat. He shot out a little spell and started chuckling.
Hermione stopped in her tracks and looked back at her boyfriend who was suddenly enjoying himself. The top of her head started feeling hot. She brought her hands up and found that her hat was on fire. "Draco!"
He stopped laughing and put the small flame out with a flick of his wrist. "What's the matter, hothead?"
Hermione's hands balled into fists. She marched back to him and tapped him hard on the shoulder. "That's it! You're not getting your Christmas gift!"
Draco cocked and eyebrow. "I thought you didn't buy me anything."
"I didn't. I did buy something to wear as a present for you, but not anymore." She huffed before walking away from him. She bought something to wear for him? His mind suddenly flashed to last week when they visited a muggle store. There was a sexy red night outfit with white, fluffy lining that he tried to buy Hermione. She shot him down with no room for arguement.
He ran to catch up to her. He wrapped his free hand around her wrist and pulled her close to him. "Sexy santa?" He asked a bit hopeful.
Hermione shook her head, causing those brown curls to fly. She pulled her wrist out of his grip. She turned to leave but then got up onto her tiptoes and whispered in his ear. "Sexy deer." She dropped down then started walking away. "But you've been naughty."
Draco's eyes widened. Did he just hear wrong? Sexy deer?
He shook his head and easily caught up to her. "I thought naughty was what you liked." He smirked down at her blushing face.
