The best vets in the nation were working on riri the name of the knight cadet was disgraced and Veil was worried after all this, his companion had just gotten hurt how could he let such things happen eventually he got news that Riri was gonna be ok
Veil went into the forest behind the castle their he was an orc village living peacefully having a great life naturally he returned to the castle and asked a servant about it
Veil: Excuse me sorry for intruding on your job but what are those orcs in the forest
Servant: uh lord veil those are Sun Orcs gifted in fire magic I advise against messing with them but maybe they will have some valuables anyway their not kingdom citizens
The servant even jokingly said "Even if you wipe them out nothing would happen to you"
Veil walked back into the forest and noticed there wasn't just one orc village but he spent 4 hours gaining intelligence on them
Sun orcs -gifted with fire magic have an ancient rune text (basically a grimoire but it holds runes not spells)
Sword orc- have some mythril enough to make one weapon not enough to start a war
Winged orcs- a mutated species of orcs have the ability to fly with giant wings on their back
Standard orc village- nothing special just their
Demon orc village- orc chief signed a contract with a mid-rank demon orc chief, who has telekinesis now while fertility rate went up but for now most of their population is young
Veil went to the standard orc village first and wiped them out pretty easily to be honest their was no real need to exert much effort
Next, he went to the sword orc tribe tho they were greatly gifted with the blade veils nodachi was able to slice them eventually all that was left was their orc chief ralmalak
Ralmalak: I thank you human you let my village die in honorable combat now it shall be my turn to squash thee into a pancake
Ralmalak was a giant green orc with a 12 pack around 60 feet tall and packing a great sword the size of a tree
Ralmalak slammed his great sword into the ground to which veil dodged but the ground around the hit cracked and the sheer impact sent veil flying
Managing to get up veil unleashed a lightning shot spell barrage where he shot twelve at the same time
Ralmalak managed to dodge nine of them but three still landed singeing a decent chunk of the green orcs skin
While ralmalak was recogering from the pain veil junped up ready landing on ralmalak's left arm which he used mana to stay attached to ran up it having his sword pointed down while doing so cutting ralmalak arm while doing so
Ralmalak caught veil in his right hand and the squezed harder and harder until veil could barely breathe it got to the point where his ribs were breaking veil released lightning affinity mana from his body depleting his mana reserves but still managing to stun ralmalak and even making him go brain dead
Ralmalak's grasp slipped and veil fell and ralmalak's corpse fell in the opposite direction
Veil went into the orc chief building which is ralmalak's house and their he saw it a item that veil found valuable mythril (this item is not a game changer)
Veil managed to drag his injured body back to the royal castle and collapsed on his way to the medical area he was then dragged their by some servants who caught sight of him
When veil woke up in the medical area he was a little pissed that the medic and priest yelled at him but what could he really do they both seemed to worry about his health the brown haired middle aged priest and the hot 30-40 yo medic so with a sigh he stayed their for a month until he fully recovered and when he got out he learned that riri had woken 14 days ago and recovered only 3 days before him
Veil eventiually took a magic carriage to go to the royal capital as he didn't have much time left he might as well spend it slacking off and having fun
Day 1: veil slept all day
Night 1: veil went to a food cart to get some food like murlitherry pie unexpectedly the 40 ish old cart owner gave him a job as he would bring in female tourists
Day 2: veil slept till 9 am and then started work at 11am he attracted a ton of customers
Night 2: a woman asked veil to go to the red light district to which he declined politely
Day 3: veil got ice cream and met this cute girl they went on a date but figured they weren't right for each other ( she puts pineapples on pizza)
