The door clicked shut behind me. Reed's room was exactly what I expected. Neat, organized, and everything in its place. A reflection of the control he wielded over everyone around him and now he had that control over me.
"Sit," Reed said, it was not a command. Just a statement.
I stayed standing, defiant to his words. "What do you want, Reed?"
"I think you know what I want." Reed moved closer. His eyes tracked over me. Assessing and possessive. "You're here because the bond brought you. Because your wolf couldn't stay away."
"That doesn't mean—"
"It means everything." Reed was right in front of me now. "You can fight it all you want, Asher but we both know how this ends."
"Yes we do and it's with you controlling me and using me as you please." I lashed out.
"Heck no, it's with you finally accepting what you are." Reed's hand came to my throat, and slowly traced the mark he'd left. "My Omega, my mate and mine."
