London – The Next Morning
Morning sunlight filtered into the Lee household kitchen, warm and unassuming. Cassiopeia, Ji-ho, and Carina sat around the table, the air filled with the comforting clink of cutlery and idle conversation about errands, work schedules, and school.
The conversation stop when a sharp tap-tap-tap struck the window.
Carina stood first, peering outside. "That's Orion's owl," she said, puzzled. "This isn't his usual letter day."
She opened the window, letting the owl glide inside. As Carina checked the envelope, her brows furrowed.
"It's addressed to Mom and Dad."
She handed it to Ji-ho, who had been calmly sipping his coffee.
Jiho opened the letter.
As he was reading the progression of his face change was evident
The calm, composed man Cassiopeia knew so well stiffened, his jaw tightening as a deep frown creased his brow. Without a word, he passed the parchment across the table.
Cassiopeia took it.
She didn't read the letter halfway through before her chair scraped violently against the floor as she stood.
She was silent with anger
Magic flared hot and wild as she moved toward the fireplace. In the middle of getting the floo powder.
Ji-ho grabbed her wrist.
"Cassie. Wait." His voice was firm but controlled. "Read it. All of it."
Carina stared between them, confused by the sudden shift in the room.
Cassiopeia scanned the rest of the letter, her breath slowing as the full picture emerged.
Orion's Letter
Mother, Father,
I am writing to inform you of an incident involving Leo. He is physically unharmed, and the matter within Hogwarts has been addressed.
Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy made inappropriate and deeply offensive remarks toward Leo, specifically regarding his blood status and his Metamorphmagus abilities. They say the same things calling him a confuse pedigree again and tell him that his ability is suited to pleased people desired.
Although Leo act rashly. He able to slither himself to the most desired outcome of this mess, it was thanks to Professor Sprout, Professor McGonigal , and Headmaster Dumbledore supports his statement.
However, given your position at the Ministry, I must ask you to proceed with caution. The Malfoys may retaliate politically rather than openly. Sorry for troubling you with this news I know the last thing you want to have in your job is drama.
We will take care of him here. No need for you to concern about us. But please take car of yourself.
—Orion
Cassiopeia lowered the parchment slowly.
The fire crackled beside her, Floo powder still clenched in her hand.
Her rage didn't vanish but it condensed, sharpened, becoming something colder and far more dangerous.
"If Orion says he's handling it at Hogwarts," she said quietly, "then I need to think about myself at the Ministry."
Jiho watched her carefully. "What are you going to do?"
Cassiopeia let out a slow breath. "This isn't the first problem they've caused me." A thin, dangerous smile curved her lips. "I'll be fine."
She paused.
"But if I see them," she added mildly, "I might hex them."
Jiho snorted despite himself.
Neither of them said anything further. They both knew better than to discuss it openly especially with Carina still in the room.
Cassiopeia turned, forcing warmth back into her voice as she knelt beside her youngest.
"Sweety," she said gently, brushing her hair back, "nothing happened, okay? Mommy just has a very mean coworker."
Carina studied her face for a moment, then nodded.
"Okay."
Reassured by her mother's calm tone, she returned to her breakfast, unaware of the storm that had just barely been contained.
Cassiopeia, however, stared into the fire
already started to come up with a plan on exactly how to deal with this issue, if she gonna fight openly she gonna lose, she doesn't have the blood status of being a "black "anymore as she abandons that name. so, she has to be smart about this.
