Sarutobi Hiruzen froze.
Even the man lurking in the shadows behind him—Shimura Danzō—was visibly shaken.
"What?!"
"Insolent… utterly insolent!"
"Uchiha Qianyu has gone completely out of control!"
Danzō hadn't participated in the scheme, but with a moment's thought, he understood everything.
He sneered.
"Framing his subordinates and using them to abduct Uchiha Fugaku—those were Shinnosuke's methods, weren't they?"
"Clever on the surface… but still far too immature."
Hiruzen snapped back coldly.
"Danzō, what are you implying?"
Danzō's voice was sharp.
"If you don't uproot the grass, the tiger will return."
"Since he set the trap, he should have killed those two immediately."
"Instead, he hesitated—took Fugaku alive, detained the others for interrogation."
"All he did was pour fuel on the Uchiha's resentment and accelerate rebellion."
He laughed darkly.
"Just like you, Hiruzen—too soft. Too indecisive."
Hiruzen slammed the desk.
"Enough! I don't need your lectures!"
"You're the one who's weak," Danzō shot back. "If the Uchiha had been handed to me—"
"Silence, Danzō!"
Danzō stopped, his face dark.
Inside, he laughed.
Sarutobi father and son. Dead ANBU. All of them are your people.
When you and the Uchiha destroy each other… that's when I step onto the stage.
Hiruzen exhaled smoke, eyes heavy.
"I'll go to ANBU headquarters myself."
"Yes, Hokage-sama."
ANBU Headquarters
Qianyu arrived.
Waiting for him was a full ANBU formation.
At the front—
Sarutobi Shinnosuke.
Their eyes met.
Rage exploded in Shinnosuke's chest.
"STOP!"
His shout cracked like thunder.
Qianyu halted calmly.
Twenty-three ANBU.
All elites.
And Shinnosuke—an elite jōnin.
This force could wipe out a small nation.
Yet Qianyu stood alone, blade in hand, unmoved.
"You bastard Uchiha Qianyu!" Shinnosuke roared.
"What did you do in the ANBU prison?!"
Qianyu's answer was indifferent.
"Killed a few people."
"How many?!"
Qianyu actually counted.
"Two guards. Seven culprits. One Mist spy."
"Ten."
Shinnosuke's pupils shrank.
"You… you slaughtered TEN ANBU?!"
"You're insane!"
"Enough talk! ANBU—kill him!"
"Yes, Captain!"
Qianyu laughed softly.
"Insane?"
"More insane than ANBU retaliating against justice, conspiring with foreign spies, and framing comrades?"
"Why weren't masks worn?"
"Why did the 'helpless' spy already have her chakra unsealed?"
"Why could she cripple my men in a single strike?"
"Shinnosuke, when you played dirty tricks, you should've expected this ending."
Shinnosuke sneered.
"Baseless accusations! Where's your proof?!"
Qianyu replied calmly.
"There is none."
"After all—your witnesses are dead."
"Every single one."
Shinnosuke exploded.
"Then you're slandering ANBU and murdering without cause!"
"A capital crime—deserving death!"
Qianyu's chakra erupted.
His Sharingan ignited, crimson and merciless.
"Colluding with foreign spies. Framing fellow ninja."
"That crime…"
"Deserves execution."
He moved.
Lightning roared around his blade as he struck first, straight at Shinnosuke.
Shinnosuke was shocked.
He's attacking—alone—against all of us?!
But he didn't retreat.
Wind chakra exploded around his own blade.
BOOM!!!
Wind and lightning collided.
The ground shattered.
Lightning scorched the earth black.
Shinnosuke staggered—then was blasted backward, smashing into the ground.
"Captain!"
ANBU roared and charged.
The battlefield ignited once more.
