Chapter 11 - Arcade

[2 weeks later...]

"If I say jump, what's your response?"

Akira spoke wiht an amused tone, a hint of mockery and disdain along with the slightest bit of arrogance flashing in those blood-red pupils, focused solely on the gang members lying on the ground.

Groans and silent whimpers spread throughout the area behind a building, shadows cast over the group as metal pipes stained with blood and bent sideways littered the floor.

"H-How high?!" The gang members replied shakily, their voices distorted from the pain of bruises, fear, and broken bones all over their bodies.

A few minutes before this, those gang members tried to rob Akira while walking through a quiet area where barely any people walked by. Those pipes on the ground were the result of them fighting each other at AKira's command.

"And if I say, give me all your money?" Akira continued with a cackle, a small grin on his face as he slowly pulled out a hand from his pocket, before opening it towards them.

"We will give you all of it!"

The gang members scurried forward, taking all their money out before putting it into Akira's palm in clean stacks of Japanese Yen bills.

"Pfttt! Akira-kun, you are too funny!"

Suddenly, a charming voice sounded from the side. Looking to the side, Akira sighed as he watched Yuka eating a popsicle, all the while looking at him with a smile.

"Akira-kun, you really are a thief! You stole their money while making them beat themselves up!" Yuka said with a chuckle, causing the gang members to glare at her with hate and annoyance.

They were here, lying on the ground as if they were dead fish, bones broken and bodies bruised, while that girl was right over there watching, as if it were a show?

It was annoying!

But they couldn't do anything but watch, fear in their eyes as the pressure exuding from Akira right in front of them constantly pressed on their bodies.

"A thief? Why would you call me that, Yuka? Throwing dirt on a teenager is very damaging to their image!

Akira pretended to be hurt as he rolled the money up before placing it into his pocket.

"Hmm, why do I call you a thief, you ask? Well, if I had to say a reason. It's probably because you are going around beating up gangsters and taking their money~," Yuka smirked, leaning forward with a teasing tone as she walked right next to Akira, with a secret thought going through her mind.

'And because you managed to steal my heart, you naughty thief~.' Yuka's eyes narrowed in pleasure, her nose twitching as she took in Akira's masculine scent, which somehow smelled better than vanilla for her.

It was Akira's abnormal testosterone taking effect, causing his body to let out a deeply attractive smell to females, a side effect of his inhuman body.

"Haaa? How is that my fault? They are the ones who donated every single penny to a poor orphan kid like me. I never forced them."

'You lying piece of shit!' Every gangster thought in their heads at the same time.

"Well, whatever the case may be, it's time for us to be going home; it's almost 9 in the afternoon, after all." Akira shrugged his shoulders as he looked up at the sky, where a red sky was hanging above them.

"Aww... But I want to spend more time with you, it's so freaking boring when I'm not with you!" Yuka closed her eyes as she complained, her smooth palm coming up to hold Akira's hoodie scruff in refusal.

Taking the chance, Yukan leaned in closer, pressing the side of her face onto AKira's chest, black curls of hair framing her face as she took a deep sniff, pretending to be upset.

'Ahhh! He smells so good! It's like I am burying my head inside a bakery filled to the brim with delicacies!' Yuka thought internally, her cheeks turning red as she looked up, taking in Akira's sharp edges possessively.

Yuka's thoughts were affected by her puberty and surging hormones a bit, but mostly because she was madly in love with Akira already, and Akira's testosterone didn't make it better.

"Fine, I'll spend some more time with you. I know an arcade close by, let's go and see," Akira sighed in defeat at Yuka's actions, a small smile on his face as he turned and walked away, with Yuka sticking close by.

"Yay!" Yuka celebrated, a successful grin on her face as she jugged next to Akira, almost pushing her entire body up against Akira's side.

"Hey Akira, I have a question for you, it might seem a bit troubling, but I wanna ask you anyway, could I?" Yuka suddenly showed a serious expression as she spoke up while the two were walking.

"Yeah, sure. Ask away, not like I have anything to hide," Akira looked at Yuka with raised eyebrows, before shrugging his shoulders with indifference, looking back to the front.

He has nothing to hide from anyone, except maybe the fact that he can basically look through clothes and does it daily, wiht no one knowing better.

Yeah, no one should know that.

"So... I heard you don't actually live at an orphanage... Is that true?" Yuka looked up, a grin on her face as she asked Akira, certain expectations flashing in her eyes.

"Hmm? How'd you know that?" Akira looked down at Yuka wiht fake surprise, pretending to be surprised at her sudden words.

In reality, Akira had long stopped living in the orphanage, going to a hotel every day to sleep and wash. With all the gangsters in Tokyo and the surroundings, he never had to worry about money.

"Oh, uhh, I heard some people talking about it while at your school yesterday..." Yuka panicked for a second, before her slow, love-filled brain managed to come up wiht a somewhat believable lie.

In reality, she had once followed Akira home from school and found that Akira did not go to an orphanage, but to a hotel.

Akira already knew this because no one can follow him and stay hidden from his superhuman senses and his eyes, but he shrugged it off, although it was a bit weird.

But being followed by a cutie was never something he would stop.

"Yeah, I don't like that place, so I usually sleep at Hotels," Akira looked back at the road, seeing the arcade across the street. He walked to a zebra crossing and pressed the stop light button, waiting for it to turn green, wiht Yuka right next to him.

"Uhm... W-Well, if it doesn't bother you. How about you come and sleep over at my place?" Yuka spat out with a massive blush, to which Akira just smiled as he started walking, the light turning green.

"Thanks, Yuka... I'm sorry, I don't wanna place a burden on you. Besides, your parents wouldn't want a stranger in the house," Akira replied with a smile, while Yuka turned unusually quiet as she followed after him, her eyes hollow and focused on the ground.

'So you don't wanna live with me... It's because my parents- no, those two won't let you live with me?' Yuka thought coldly, a plan slowly taking shape in her mind, unknowingly releasing a dreadful atmosphere from her body.

"Yuka, we are here," Ignoring the dark pressure from Yuka, Akira spoke up.
