He had played support long enough that he should have known such a thing, but he wasn't used to having a healer who was even more perceptive than he was. Figg had been fast on his heal use, already preparing the chant of the spell the moment he saw that the attack was going to land.
However Saige had still managed to land his heal before Figg had, meaning that he had anticipated it before he did. Even if it was just a second, it was still incredibly impressive, although it had been an absolute waste of mana as there was no need for such a double heal.
