As Suun'Ma's face fell, so did Belladonna. She couldn't help but let out a sharp yelp as the coins that were holding her up instantly lost their structure and simply fell along with her, clattering to the ground as she hit it with a solid thump.
Groaning and clambering to her feet, Belladonna looked up the mountain of coins as the horrified demon that was doubting every part of his existence.
He looked at his hands, as if he could see them drenched in the blood of the innocent, and muttered softly under his breath.
"I... I have perverted justice. I have attacked those who did no wrong. I... I have broken the law over and over, without end, and I did not even see it. How much have I been blinded..."
His despair melted away, replaced by a burning rage that twisted his face as he roared in anger. His hands lunged up, digging into his own face. His fingers pierced his flawless golden flesh, carving deep ruts into his own face.
