Chapter 72 - Chapter 72: Doinb’s Final Obsession

The director focused the camera on Jayce, who was left with only five HP.

"Locked in!"

"My god, he actually succeeded in the tower dive?"

"I've watched so many of Rise of Kingdoms Bro's games, and what leaves the deepest impression is always his boldness. 'Great skill breeds great courage' really isn't wrong. Doinb is going to feel awful after this—he TPed back, didn't get to eat the wave, and didn't even reach level six."

——

As one of the former top domestic top laners, 957 understood just how absurd that scene was.

"You need both luck and skill. Very few players can calculate incoming damage down to single digits. Rise of Kingdoms Bro's details are insanely good. The moment he starts fighting, he chugs potions—just during that exchange, his HP recovered well over a hundred points, which is why it locked in perfectly.

The more of his games you watch, the more you feel how strong this guy really is! With that little HP left, he still didn't leave and insisted on pushing the wave. That's greedy—but in League of Legends, the greedier you are, the more you gain!"

"Now Doinb is really suffering. He used Teleport to come back, still level five, and can't even eat the huge wave under tower…" Tongxi said softly as she watched Doinb's face twist.

"Yeah… LNG is in trouble now."

...

"Bro, don't rush. I'll come mid in a bit. Jayce is squishy—we can burst him together," Tarzan quickly tried to reassure him.

The loss of that mid wave alone was enough to drive anyone crazy.

Doinb stayed silent for a long while. He'd actually been fine if he'd made a mistake—but throughout the entire sequence, he hadn't taken any risky actions at all.

The only possible issue was the timing of his W. If he'd used it during the cannon shot, maybe it would've been a bit better. But with Jayce holding his damage and poking nonstop, it was still impossible to endure.

To avoid that situation entirely, the only option would've been not showing up in lane at all.

"You guys need to be careful. I'm worried he'll start moving," Doinb warned his teammates.

From past match footage, he knew that once this guy got an advantage, he loved to roam—especially bot.

Hearing that, Greenhair was startled. With how oppressive the enemy bot lane was already playing, he hurriedly went to place wards behind them to guard against a Jayce flank.

Mid had already collapsed—bot absolutely couldn't.

Once the entire team was under pressure, the game would become impossible to play.

But as the match reached eight minutes, bot lane was already down fifteen CS and had lost a plating. Compared to mid, things weren't much more optimistic.

...

"Six!"

After clearing his top-side Gromp, Tian successfully hit level six.

"There's no ward here," Zoom excitedly pinged the map.

"Doesn't matter—even if there is one, we're diving," Lin Fan said firmly. Swapping to hammer form, he used To the Skies! to clear the backline minions instantly.

"Tian, move."

"Got it."

After finishing Gromp, Sejuani headed top. Using the Blast Cone, she jumped into the river, looped around, and entered the brush behind red side's top tower.

This position was directly behind Fiora. But with just Sejuani and Gragas, their damage was still a bit lacking—it was very possible Fiora could outplay them. All they needed now was Jayce.

At 9:14, Jayce disappeared from mid.

Doinb didn't dare relax. He immediately pinged and warned his teammates.

But the mid wave was crashing into tower—he couldn't leave to help.

Bot lane reacted like startled birds, instantly backing away from the turret.

If Jayce came down, something would definitely happen.

Tarzan, meanwhile, moved toward top. If Sejuani and Jayce showed bot, he could immediately start Rift Herald to recoup some losses.

Fiora, who had been pressing near the tier-one tower, also began backing off.

And Gragas, abandoning a huge wave under tower, followed out. Only then did Ale realize something was wrong.

"Jayce might be coming top!"

TES moved incredibly fast.

The moment Ale finished speaking, Sejuani appeared behind him, cutting off his retreat.

W into auto—she immediately applied her passive.

Fiora's movement speed plummeted, and Sejuani's passive quickly stacked to three.

Gragas followed up from behind. Jayce still wasn't visible—but his cannon already was.

The Shock Blast slammed into Fiora, her HP plunging.

This was Jayce's terrifying damage at this stage. On LNG's side, no one could withstand it.

Fiora had only her W. TES had four sources of crowd control. With no Flash and facing the combined burst of three players, there was nothing she could do.

Using To the Skies! to trigger form-swap bonus damage, Lin Fan secured the Fiora kill.

"Massive damage! TES move so decisively—mid-jungle collapse top, no time to react. Rift Herald is definitely gone too."

From that pick onward, TES's tempo visibly accelerated.

At 11:47, Tian appeared behind mid tier-one. A long-range ult connected cleanly with Irelia under tower.

Lin Fan's fingers clattered across the keyboard—seven inputs per second, full output.

Doinb's will to survive was immense, but he couldn't withstand the lethality of helmeted Tian.

In the end, Sejuani's flail gently bonked him, turning him into a corpse.

Rift Herald was summoned, and Jayce solo-took first turret.

Before twelve minutes, mid lane was over.

With mid wide open, TES could invade even more freely.

A fully geared Jayce began brutally tormenting the side lanes.

Down bot, one Shock Blast landed on Jinx. Already not very healthy, she was instantly chunked down to one-fifth HP.

"Beautiful!"

JackeyLove shouted and instantly seized the chance—Draven's axes flew from his hands, rolling straight toward Jinx.

Under Light's urging, Greenhair tried to ult, but his reaction speed just couldn't keep up.

Draven's ultimate executed Jinx.

Mark spotted the opening and flashed in with Q, pulling Lulu back.

From behind, Lin Fan leapt in with To the Skies!, smashing Lulu and securing the kill.

His fourth kill of the match.

He had fully taken over the game.

Bot tier-one fell, Infernal Drake followed, and with TES's momentum rolling, LNG no longer had the strength to mount a comeback.

Even though Doinb and Tarzan managed to dive and kill Zoom, it came at the cost of Irelia's life.

Top tier-one went down to recoup some gold, but the deficit wasn't something that could be reversed so easily.

——

Next came TES's suffocating Baron tempo.

Fiora tried to split push, but Jayce intercepted her.

With a massive item lead, Lin Fan wasn't afraid of Fiora at all—he was even looking for a solo kill.

Ale wasn't someone willing to settle for mediocrity either.

Unfortunately, despite playing the exchange perfectly, Lin Fan hugged the wall, holding the final line of defense and denying Fiora her opening.

The Blade Waltz never came out—this duel was already decided.

Jayce's second rotation came off cooldown, and a single Shock Blast sent Fiora back to fountain.

As soon as the bot-side skirmish ended, TES went straight for Baron.

The pressure crushed Tarzan. He flash-Smited in desperation—but no miracle happened.

Seeing Renata's low HP and his own scoreboard, Doinb gritted his teeth and flashed into the pit.

"Ionia calls!"

LNG lost top, mid, and jungle—TES secured Baron!

Staring at his grayscale screen, Doinb finally showed a faint smile.

His scoreline had finally changed from zero to one.

This was his final obsession of the match.

Dying repeatedly without contributing anything—even with skin as thick as a city wall—was still hard to endure.

At 28:00, LNG's Nexus exploded.
