Chapter 74 - Chapter 74 — The Arena Isn’t About Fighting and Killing

"So fast—first blood already?" Luo Sheng said in surprise.

The Hecarim–Ahri combo usually only really comes online after level six.

Once both ultimates are up, they can kill wherever they go.

That's the theory, at least. In reality, you often see mid–jungle duos go one-for-one or even int together.

So whether Hecarim and Ahri work still depends on the players.

But watching now, Luo Sheng felt very reassured.

Lin Fan's Ahri controlled the wave just as cleanly as his Syndra—steady, precise, and familiar.

It looked like he'd really taken those awful scrim results to heart and trained seriously afterward.

No wonder he showed such a strong desire to pick Ahri in both games.

Clearly he had real skill—this wasn't about listening to Ahri's death moans.

As for Knight, his teeth were nearly grinding to dust.

I was here first. So why is Tian so willing to follow Lin Fan?

Just because he's… bigger?

As for how the rest of the game played out, Knight barely cared anymore.

At six minutes, both mid laners hit level six.

Hecarim made another visit mid.

Doinb sensed the danger, but before he could escape, Lin Fan's Ahri dashed in with her ultimate and charmed him, forcing out Flash.

Tian activated Ghost, Hecarim's four hooves accelerating to full speed. In the blink of an eye, he was behind Ryze—one kick sent him flying out from under the turret.

Hecarim's halberd spun in a vicious arc, smashing down onto Ryze's bald head. The few remaining hairs looked like they'd been shaved clean.

With Flash already used, Doinb had no options left.

All his spells went out, but it was pointless.

Ahri's Q finished the kill.

"Tian is completely online—one mid camp, then another. TES's mid–jungle is loud this game!"

Was this really the headless horseman from before?

More like a vengeful knight returned.

The audience burst into laughter, already guessing how many times Doinb would die this game.

Doinb himself had the same concern.

Next would be Hecarim hitting level six.

With Tian's personality… would he really just dive mid and tower-dive him again?

That moment of distraction cost him.

Another Ahri charm landed, proccing Electrocute.

With two kills under her belt, Ahri was already most of the way to Everfrost.

Ryze lost half his HP in an instant, leaving Doinb scratching his head in frustration.

Zoning out against a player like this?

That was practically asking to die.

He hurriedly chugged potions, terrified that Hecarim might charge out from some unseen angle.

But at this HP, making plays was impossible.

Watching Ahri casually clear the wave and disappear from the minimap, Doinb felt his dignity slipping away.

Two games in, his trademark self-contained system never came online.

Instead, TES walked all over him.

Worse still, Tian had personally ganked him multiple times.

With the warning signals up, Ale immediately leapt back toward his turret.

He still vividly remembered how he'd been destroyed by ganks last game.

If not for that troublemaking Jayce, last game should've been his time to shine.

Fiora was supposed to slaughter everyone—only to get pinned down, then solo-killed later. Completely humiliating.

This time, on Jax, he still had the potential to take over.

As long as he didn't die, everything would be fine.

From this moment on, I am the Saint of Turtling.

Bot lane followed suit.

They stayed glued under their turret, even warding the Krugs bush.

If Zeri and Yuumi got dove, it'd be a guaranteed double kill.

LNG locked down both side lanes, fully alert, refusing to give TES any chances.

Doinb looked at his lanes and felt satisfied.

Ahri ran around for nothing—I can safely farm mid.

"Despair!"

Hecarim charged in from the side with his ultimate, fearing Ryze and kicking him straight out from under the turret.

Ahri followed up with her ultimate, charming Ryze into helpless confusion.

"Xi ba…"

Ahri hadn't gone anywhere—she was waiting mid the whole time for him to last-hit a caster minion.

The scoreboard now read 0–3.

TES quietly built a 1,500 gold lead.

With mid dead, TES suddenly had far more options.

They secured Rift Herald first.

While taking it, Lin Fan reminded bot lane to play safe.

"We're doing Herald top—don't let Lee Sin use you as a breakthrough."

"Got it."

JackeyLove immediately stopped pressing the lane.

Backstage, Luo Sheng nodded in satisfaction.

From the observer view, Lee Sin really was sneaking down looking for an opening.

This was how it should be.

When mid–jungle makes plays topside, bot lane stays disciplined.

Tarzan stared at the Draven retreating under turret, completely confused.

Wasn't this guy super aggressive earlier?

Why was he suddenly so passive?

If you don't play aggressive, how am I supposed to gank?

With bot lane unavailable and mid–jungle completely linked, LNG couldn't contest mid–jungle fights at all.

They were simply outmatched.

Meanwhile, TES's mid–jungle tempo was already rolling, and the pressure was suffocating.

Lin Fan didn't care what LNG was thinking.

After recalling and refreshing ultimates, he was ready to make more plays.

LNG could only force a mid–jungle move while Ahri's ultimate was down.

They managed to steal… a raptor camp.

It clawed back a bit of gold, but meant nothing for the overall situation.

At twelve minutes, Lin Fan and Tian moved bot.

Light and LvMao spotted Ahri and Hecarim in advance through vision.

They abandoned the turret and ran.

Bot outer turret fell easily to TES.

LNG's mid–jungle tried to trade by pushing mid turret, but TES's rotation was lightning-fast.

Mark flashed in—Q into ultimate—pinpoint-locking Ryze.

Hecarim ulted from max range, repeating the same combo, delivering Ryze right back.

TES followed up and secured another easy kill.

With mid down, the next dragon naturally went to TES.

The next eight minutes were pure torment for LNG.

They played worse and worse, gradually developing the mindset that ending the game would be a relief.

Especially Doinb—his score was now 0–6, just two deaths away from being ultra-fed… in the wrong way.

With this composition, once TES gained a mid-game lead, their charge was terrifying.

LNG had no real answers.

Either Jax got caught top, or bot lane died together.

The gap kept growing.

By 23 minutes, the kill score was 2–13.

LNG had already lost two inhibitors, entering a slow, inevitable death.

While defending the Nexus towers, Lin Fan caught Light out of position.

Ahri's E pierced through the chaos and landed the charm.

Tian seized the moment and charged in with his ultimate.

The final teamfight began.

A fully-fed Draven turned into a god of war.

As four kills dropped, JackeyLove's eyes turned bloodshot.

Voice comms exploded with his shouts.

"Pentakill! Pentakill!"

"What pentakill—he's not even coming out!"

"Dive in, fountain dive!"

"You go!"

"Then let's go!"

They dove in and got blasted by the fountain three times, instantly dying.

Everyone finally calmed down.

Forget it—end the game.

If they somehow threw this, they'd be kneeling on keyboards back home.

Tarzan—zero emotional intelligence. Absolutely none.

At 26:14, LNG's Nexus exploded.

TES won 2–0.

JackeyLove still thought about the missed pentakill, lips curling upward.

"Your mom's kiss."
