League of Villains' new basement
In the night, there was Twice. Alongside him, there was another guy with a strange mask on his mouth, purple fur on his shoulders, and looking at him, you could guess he was a villain.
"Why did you bring me here?" the villain asked.
"Because my boss wants to talk to you, Overhaul," said Twice.
He opened the door. Inside the room, there were Shigaraki, Mr. Compress, Toga, and Magne.
"Welcome here, Overhaul," said Shigaraki. "Or should I say, Kai Chisaki?"
"Before you can ask me," Overhaul sighed. "I'm not joining you. Why should I?"
"You know," Shigaraki hummed. "Here, in the League of Villains, there is one of us who's been slacking off a little bit. Furthermore, I'm starting to suspect he's sabotaging us, and now, my sensei even wants him to be his successor instead of me..."
"Are you talking about Mato-kun?" Toga muttered.
"Yeah, I guess he is," said Mr. Compress. "And honestly, he's right."
"I've heard you're a criminal," Shigaraki continued. "And also the deputy chief of a Yakuza association called Shie Hassaikai."
"Yes, I am," said Overhaul.
"What's the difference between a criminal and a villain?" Toga asked, looking up to see Mr. Compress.
"A criminal breaks laws," Mr. Compress replied. "While we villains just do villainous things."
"So, I'll ask you one more time, Chisaki," said Shigaraki. "You in or what?"
"No, I'm out," said Overhaul.
Suddenly, though, everyone in the room began to hear a strange sound as if someone was running towards the place.
"Do you hear it too?" asked Magne.
"Yeah," said Toga.
"Seems like someone's coming," said Shigaraki. "I just hope it's not-"
"SMAAAAASSSSHHHH!" Satoru crushed through the wall with a kick and entered the room. "SO YOU'RE TRYING TO REPLACE ME, HUH?"

"Mato-kun!" Toga's eyes lighted up with joy.
"Who the hell is this guy!?" Satoru asked, pointing at Overhaul, his eyes full of rage. "Answer me, Tomura!"
"Calm down, Mato," said Shigaraki. "I had no intention to replace you. How could I? You're the one sensei chose, after all..."
"That's exactly why you want to replace me!" said Satoru. "I'm not dumb, you know?"
He turned to Overhaul. "I don't know who you are, but I already don't like you."
"Mato, you misunderstood," said Mr. Compress. "For 'replacing you' he meant finding someone for when you're not around."
"Don't try to fool me," Satoru snorted. "You know what, guy with a beak? If you want to replace me, replace me, but don't expect to be worthy of it."
Satoru moved his head to his right to face Toga.
"Himiko-chan..." he whispered. "I know it was you at the provisional license exam."
Toga's eyes widened. "Huh? You recognized me?"
"Yeah, I did," said Satoru. "I recognized you by the way you spoke and how you moved. You wanted to check if I had turned good, didn't you?"
"N-no, absolutely not!" Toga said.
"Don't worry," said Satoru. "I know Tomura ordered you to do so. Just for you, I'm still the same Mato I was before. I'm still a villain."
(Liar. I don't want to be a villain, but I don't want to lose my spot in the League of Villains, either. For now, I'll just play my game.)
"You know what," said Overhaul all of a sudden. "I'll join... but only if you pay me."
"Twice," Shigaraki muttered. "Don't bring people without knowing their intent first."
"To execute my plan, I need a lot of money," Overhaul continued. "There isn't really anyone willing to invest in some obsolete small-time yakuza. But it'd be different if I had you guys, with your increasing name recognition. Especially you, Mato."
He extended his palm. "Put yourselves under me, I'll show you how well I can use you. And then, I'll become the next leader."
"Go home," said Shigaraki. "I changed my mind, Mato never asked for-"
"Sorry, young Yakuza," Magne suddenly grabbed his weapon and dashed towards Overhaul. "We didn't come together to be under someone."
Overhaul didn't do anything. He just touched Magne, and in a fraction of a second, they were dead.
(He just killed Magne!) Satoru's eyes widened. (Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap!)
"You all made the first move," Overhaul said. "That's filthy. That's why I hate stuff like this..."
Mr. Compress dashed forward.
"Wait, Compress!" said Satoru.
"This guy is trouble!" Mr. Compress said. "I'll use my Compress to seal him away!"
Overhaul touched Mr. Compress's left arm. It exploded.
(Oh no, Atsuhiro too!)
Satoru instinctively jumped in front of Toga. "Don't touch her, Overhaul!"
"Mato-kun, you're..." Toga muttered.
"Yes," said Mato. "I'm protecting you."
Suddenly, someone else crushed through the wall: Overhaul's yakuza band.
"Took you long enough," said Overhaul.
"Sorry," said one of them.
"We're leaving," said Overhaul. "I owe that guy an arm."
"Wait, I'll kill you!" exclaimed Twice.
"Calm down, Jin," said Satoru. "Tomura, what should we do?"
"Nothing," said Shigaraki. "Let him leave."
"Wise decision, Hand Guy," said Overhaul. "I'm going to show you the chance you missed by refusing my help. I'll prove I'm better than you, Mato."
Overhaul and his band left.
"Why did you stop me, Mato?" asked Twice.
"Jin, more importantly, take Atsuhiro to the doctor," said Satoru.
"Tomura, I'll cut those guys," said Toga.
"Out of the question, Himiko-chan," said Satoru.
(The first thing he did after he understood the situation was to protect me...) thought Toga. (Does... does he really care so much about me? Is it... is it because of that scarf I gave you?)
"Tomura," said Satoru. "You cannot replace me. Also, you shouldn't even try to."
"You're right," said Shigaraki. "You know what? I've got another mission for you."
"What is it?" Satoru asked.
"Eliminate Overhaul," said Shigaraki. "You don't have to kill him, but knock him out or tear off some limbs."
"Got it," said Satoru. "I'm going now. If my class doesn't find me in my room, they'll start to suspect."
Before leaving, Satoru took a last look at Toga. "Bye."
He jumped high and left.
(I was wrong,) thought Shigaraki. (He's irreplaceable.)
(Wait, did I just jump very high?) wondered Satoru in mid-air. (Guess it's the second Quirk AFO gave me, and I'm just starting to learn how to use it.)
