This is certainly entertaining, don't you think? Allow me to explain. Myths, legends, and folk tales — none of these are just stories. In this world, those stories you hear are entities.
Entities that have interacted with humanity. Some use their power for good, some use it for evil. Some even pretend to be gods. At some point, even I, Iscaria, had a thought to do such.
However, the more I thought about it, I saw no sense in it. It would only cause someone to come and slay me when I was weak. Actually, I would say it wasn't me at all who came to this realization.
