Chapter 1 - ARC 1 - Rebirt Of Harted/ BAB 1 - Reborn

Agus Suhardi, a forty-year-old office worker, stared at the towering piles of paperwork on his desk with weary eyes and a body on the verge of collapse. The government office was hot, humid, filled with the scent of wet paper and stale coffee. Here, law and justice were empty words; wealthy, corrupt officials ruled with an iron fist, while people like Agus—ordinary employees—had no voice.

He had just uncovered a secret that was never meant to be known: a grand scheme by his corrupt boss, a high-ranking official capable of ruining countless lives. Agus knew too much, and that made him a target.

Heavy footsteps echoed in the corridor. A rough hand covered his mouth, and he was dragged along. Pain stabbed through him as a sharp object pierced his skin, and poison coursed through his veins. Agus's vision began to darken. Anger, frustration, and regret blended together. The world had never been fair—at work, in society, even the law protected the wrong and oppressed the right.

As his body teetered on the edge of collapse, a voice resonated in his mind, gentle yet shaking his very consciousness.

"Agus Suhardi… I grant you a second chance. This world has been unjust to you. I will give you a new life, but the choice is yours. Are you ready?"

Agus swallowed hard, his body weak but his heart ablaze. No fear remained. All the suffering, all the betrayals, all the helplessness he experienced on Earth now fueled his determination. He nodded, silently vowing to himself:

"I will not be weak again. No one will ever oppress me."

Soft yet piercing light appeared from nowhere. His body was drawn into it, warm and painful, carrying every memory and experience along. In an instant, the old world vanished, and Agus's consciousness slipped into the void before finally being reborn into a new world.

He opened his eyes. A vast blue sky stretched above, green trees swayed gently in the wind, and the scent of fresh earth filled his senses. Aureliux Drafent was born as a baby in a poor village, the son of a beautiful common woman named Selira Drafent, who had already told him of the noble blood flowing within him.

Though an infant, his consciousness from his previous life remained intact. He felt this world in ways a normal baby could not: survival instincts, calculations, and an unyielding drive to grow stronger than anyone else.

Every tiny movement carried purpose. As his hand reached for sunlight streaming through the small window of their modest home, he knew one thing: this world might be physically different from Earth, but injustice remained.

Corrupt nobles, wicked mages, rampaging monsters—all capable of oppressing the weak. Aureliux swallowed, smiled faintly, and repeated the vow from his previous life, now with greater resolve:

"I will become strong. I will enter the castle, I will avenge every injustice, and I will never be weak again."

From that moment, his innate talent and hidden leveling system began to guide him. A subtle aura emerged within him, perceptible only to himself. He did not yet know how powerful he could become, but one thing was clear: Aureliux Drafent was born to change this world—on his own terms.
