(I should've made it clear that Haki is a well known power if you're an adventurer or a warrior or the likes of it.)
"Thank you for your help, dearie. I don't know how long it would've taken if it was me doing this." Lars smiled at an old lady. He had just finished helping her move furniture into her new apartment. It took about a few hours, but he got the job done.
"No problem, ma'am. Now you can just worry about resting in your new home." He replied politely as he took out his Adventure Handbook. "I would like you to sign this if you will." The woman took the pen he offered before giving her signature.
"I'll put in a good word for you, young man. You seem reliable than most of the adventurer folk around here."
"The pleasure is mine. If you want a helping hand yet again, you know where to find me." Lars bid her farewell before heading back to the Guild Post.
"Wow, look at that girl!" Lars looked at the commotion and couldn't help but laugh. There was Qiqi, carrying multiple large crates all by herself, and making it seem like light work.
Lars and Qiqi had taken their first commissions separately, where he had to help the old lady, while the purple haired child was helping a store owner carry some crates, and Qiqi made sure to remember to meet up with him after she had completed her commission.
"Splendid work, young lady. You truly are amazing. Thank you so much." The store owner clapped his hand, baffled at her strength. Qiqi nodded, her dull expression never changing.
"No problem, sir. Please sign this..." She asked politely, taking out her notebook and pen. The middle aged man gladly signed it.
"I'll be sure to give you a good rating, little miss." He said, gently patting her head. Qiqi unconsciously placed a hand on her chest. She was feeling something, a warmth, but a different kind. She would have to ponder about it later.
"See you later, sir." Qiqi bowed a little before heading off. She noticed Lars smiling at her not far away and quickly approached him.
"I thought we were supposed to meet at the Guild?" She wondered.
"Nah, I saw you on the way there so I figured I should wait for you to finish. So, how does it feel helping someone?" He asked as they continued walking.
"It feels.... Good I guess... I don't know how to describe it." Qiqi muttered.
"Well I'm glad you feel that way. Let's go back to Katheryne and get our payment."
"Let's go..."
At the Guild Post, the robot receptionist nodded in satisfaction as she stamped over the respective signatures. "Congratulations on your completing your first commissions." She then went to a cabinet and took out two sacks, before handing one of them to Qiqi and Lars respectively.
"Here is your payment. Keep up the good work, you two." She said as they opened the pouches at the same time.
"500 Mora. How much did you get?" Lars asked, feeling accomplished after getting his first payment in this world.
"Same as you... So what do we do with the money now?" Qiqi asked him. He smiled down at her.
"We keep it and save it until it's necessary to use it." Lars answered, placing the sack of Mora in his waist pouch given by the Guild to new adventurers. Qiqi looked down at her own pouch before doing the same.
Then she looked up at him once again. "Let's do more commissions." She said in her usual dull tone,but Lars detected a small hint of excitement in her voice. He smiled and nodded.
"Sure, let's go." They headed to the commissions board and stares at it. It was full of commissions, varying from S-rank to D-rank.
"Hmm, gathering flowers and deliver them to miss Ying'er. Doesn't sound too hard." He muttered as he read through the request, ripping the paper off the board as he looked at Qiqi who showed her request, the paper covering the lower half of her face.
"I'm taking care of cats." She told him. He smiled.
"That sounds fun. C'mon, let's take them to Katheryne and go complete them."

Lars exhaled a little as he stepped out the gates of Liyue. Being an adventurer has it's perks for sure, he can enter and exit Liyue freely without having the hassle of being checked or questioned.
Looking at the map of Liyue he obtained from Katheryne, the flowers he needed to pick were near a Statue of the Seven. He smirked. This was the exact reason he picked up the commission after all. It was high time he had a new power up.
Entering into a light jog, he quickly headed to the spot. Meanwhile, Qiqi had just met with the client who commissioned the quest.
"Oh you're such an adorable girl, the cats are going to looove you. I'm only going to be gone for a few hours, please take good care of them, little miss." The middle aged woman smiled gently at Qiqi, who only nodded silently in return.
As she left, the child was left alone with the cats who circled around her, staring at her with big round eyes. Qiqi knelt down and stared back at them with her trademark emotionless gaze.
"Meow~" One of the cats meowed as he rubbed its body on Qiqi. Qiqi didn't know what to do, so she just petted it gently. Soon she found herself giving attention to all of the needy fluffy cats.
Back to Lars, it didn't take long for him to reach his destination. He first picked the flowers as requested. After making sure he picked up enough, he then made his way to the Statue of The Seven.
Standing in front of the Geo Archon's statue, he stared at it silently before placing his palm on the pillar. He widened his eyes as the statue glowed, causing a power to flow through him immediately.
He exhaled as the surge of power stopped. Stepping back, he looked down at his hands and grinned. "Alrightttt...."
"Oh? It seems we have some unwanted visitors..." He turned around, looking at a group of Hilichurls approaching him menacingly. He cracked his knuckles.
"You'd make perfect test subjects!" He shouted as he put a foot forward, it glowed golden before a golden Geo stake popped out in front of a hillichurl, stabbing through it's heart.
He then put another foot forward, shooting out a rock pillar that sent another hillichurl flying up. Suddenly, he appeared in front of it midair, before delivering a devastating blow to its face.
A hillichurl holding a crossbow shot an arrow at him. Lars saw and held out his hand, intending to create a blade, but what came out was a kitchen knife instead.
"Huh?" He blinked. He didn't have time to ponder upon it before he quickly sliced the arrow in half. He then spun around once before throwing the knife straight at the hillichurl, the knife embedding straight in its head.
'It seems I have a limit on what kind of objects I can create. No matter, I just got this power after all, what did I expect? I'll just train like usual.' He shook his head as he looked around him.
"Not bad for a first time user. Now time to deliver these flowers."

"Hey handsome~ How may I assist you?" Lars gulped a little as he stood in front of Ying'er. She was a shop assistant for the Scent of Spring, a shop for fine vases. Perfume making was actually a side job for her.
"I'm here to deliver these." She gasped as Lars handed her a bundle of flowers. "Oh my~ You shouldn't have! Thank you, but I don't even know your name."
"Uh... It's Lars." Ying'er giggled and slapped his arm playfully. "Lighten up a little. I'm just joking. Thank you for your hard work, you arrived in record time too, I had just posted that commission after all." Lars sighed, women with teasing personalities were the bane of him.
"No problem... And next time I'll bring you more flowers, and it won't be because of the commission." Lars smiled at her. Well, two can play that game. Ying'er gasped, before giggling in amusement.
"Hihi~ My my, what a charmer we have here. May I sign that handbook now, handsome~" Lars took out the handbook, gladly letting the perfume maker sign it.
"I'll definitely give you a good rating. And you know what? If you want a perfume, come back here and I'll give you a sweet discount."
"Wow... Than you, miss."
"Oh don't be so formal, you can call me Ying'er. Or maybe if you want to, you can call me yours~" She laughed as Lars looked away, not wanting her to see his red tomato face.
"Alright now, I have to go back to my job now. Bubyeee handsome~ Do come buy my perfumes!" She waved as she entered the store. Lars sighed and wiped his forehead full of sweat.
"Man, how is dealing with her more stressful than those Hilichurls...."
