"Close the door behind you, Chen Yu." I stated casually to my assistant who just nodded, quickly leaving my office. The door clicked silently and left alone with the visitors, I walked to stand in front of my desk, not bothering to offer them a seat.
They were rude enough to barge in unannounced, the first stage of courtesy had already been broken.
"This better be fucking quick. What do you want?" The father's eyes widened like he was about to scold me for my language.
"What an insolent young man. Is that how you were taught to speak to your elders?" The woman spoke, her shrill voice grating on my eardrums.
I scratched my brow. It took just one thing for me to not show them the door, and that was my curiosity on how this scenario was going to go. I mean, it was already clear their purpose for being here.
