Chapter 9 - 9.ARRIVAL AT GEISTIGE WELT

In the Evil Spirit World, a violent distortion tore open the air.

Yosuke, Konami, Yuko, Tanaka, and Yachiru emerged from it, stepping onto black stone polished like glass. Before them stood a colossal structure, vast and imposing—its architecture a fusion of palace and parliament, layered towers rising like thorns toward a night sky.

Yosuke spread his arms slightly, eyes gleaming.

"So… we've finally arrived," he said calmly.

"My Garden of Eden."

Yuko looked up at the structure, impressed.

"So it really is finished."

Konami nodded.

"It would seem so."

Tanaka stepped forward and knelt, placing a fist to his chest.

"Welcome back to your palace, Lord Yosuke."

At that moment, dozens of demi spirits appeared across the vast courtyard, emerging from shadows and distortions alike. One by one, they knelt in perfect synchronization.

Tanaka and Yachiru joined them.

All spoke in unison.

"Welcome back, my lord."

Yosuke's expression softened—not with kindness, but with satisfaction.

"You have all done well," he said.

"My soldiers of Geistige Welt."

The air vibrated with devotion.

Yosuke turned his gaze to Tanaka.

"Tanaka. Take the incubator to my lab."

Tanaka rose immediately.

"At once, my lord."

In a flash of Geisterblitz, Tanaka vanished—reappearing moments later deeper within the palace as he transported the massive incubator toward the restricted research wing.

Yosuke turned back to the gathered forces.

"I want all upper ranks assembled in the meeting chamber."

A unified response echoed through the courtyard.

"Yes, my lord."

THE MEETING CHAMBER

The chamber was vast and circular, its walls carved with ancient sigils and murals depicting fallen worlds and conquered realms.

Upper-ranked demi spirits took their seats along the curved hall.

Tanaka arrived moments later, stepping inside.

Yachiru glanced sideways at him, smirking.

"You barely made it, Tanaka.

Tanaka didn't look at her.

"I was given a task. Don't try to start something, Yachiru."

Before she could respond, the chamber doors slowly opened.

Yosuke entered first, followed by Konami and Yuko.

Their appearances had changed.

Their clothing now resembled refined demi-spirit armor—dark, elegant, and symbolic of authority rather than brute power.

They took their seats at the highest tier.

The room fell completely silent.

Yosuke rested his hands together, fingers interlaced.

"Now," he said calmly,

"it's time to discuss our plans."

His eyes swept across the gathered elites.

"The Spirit Corps believes this conflict has ended," Yosuke continued.

"They mourn. They rebuild. They grow complacent."

A faint smile crossed his face.

"But what they do not realize… is that this was merely the opening move."

Konami leaned back slightly.

"Our enemies are fractured. Their Sentinels are wounded."

Yosuke nodded

"Exactly."

His gaze sharpened.

"Our next actions will not be reckless. We will not strike blindly."

He paused

"We will cultivate power. Reshape the battlefield. And when we return

A low pressure filled the chamber.

"…the Spirit Corps will not survive a second war."

The demi spirits bowed their heads.

Yosuke's gaze hardened as the murmurs among the demi spirits began to rise.

"One more thing," he said calmly—yet the pressure behind his words silenced the chamber instantly.

"I will not tolerate violence among yourselves. No rivalries. No internal bloodshed."

The temperature of the room seemed to drop.

"There will be no exceptions."

No one dared to respond.

Moments later, Yosuke rose from his seat. Konami and Yuko followed, and the three of them exited the chamber together, leaving the upper ranks behind in absolute silence.

YOSUKE'S LAB

Deep within the palace, beyond layers of barriers and forbidden seals, lay Yosuke's laboratory.

The room was vast and sterile, filled with floating sigils, arcane machinery, and towering incubators connected by countless glowing tubes. At the center stood two massive pods, pulsing faintly with spiritual energy.

Yuko broke the silence.

"Is the body ready?"

"Yes," Yosuke replied, adjusting a control panel. "And you've been awfully quiet."

Before Yuko could answer, a distorted yet calm voice echoed from within one of the incubators.

"There was nothing for me to say.

But tell me… is my vessel ready yet?"

Yosuke did not look up.

"Please don't be impatient. I only need to finish connecting the tubes."

With deliberate precision, he locked the final conduits into place. A low hum filled the room.

One of the incubators slowly opened.

Inside lay a human-created body, unnaturally perfect in form—motionless, pale, and empty. Its entire frame was wrapped in thick bandages, sealing everything except a single exposed eye socket.

Yosuke stepped back slightly.

"Now, Yuko. Begin extraction."

"At once."

A dense mist of dark, cloud-like energy poured from the closed incubator and flowed into the open incubator. The moment it made contact with the body, an overwhelming surge of spiritual pressure erupted outward.

The entire Geistige Welt shook.

Structures trembled. Sigils flared violently. Even distant demi spirits staggered under the sheer weight of the power being transferred.

Yosuke's eyes widened slightly

"Truly incredible…"

Inside the incubator, the body began to change.

Hair formed strand by strand. Flesh and tissue knit together with unnatural precision. Cells multiplied at an accelerated rate, constructing something that was no longer merely artificial.

Yet the bandages remained—binding the vessel, restraining it.

After several tense moments, the energy subsided.

Yuko exhaled slowly.

"Extraction is complete."

Yosuke studied the incubator carefully before nodding.

"That's good. It appears to be a success."

The voice spoke again, irritation clear beneath its composure.

"Then why is it still unusable?"

Yosuke turned toward the incubator.

"That body needs time to properly absorb your soul. Rushing it would destabilize the vessel."

He paused.

"I estimate two to three weeks."

A brief silence followed.

"…I see. How annoying."

Yosuke allowed himself a faint smile.

"But I know you're not the impatient type," he said quietly.

"God of Hollow. God of Evil. God of Demons."

His voice lowered.

"And now… demi spirit."

"Kamin."

HELL

Far away, beyond worlds and dimensions, within Hell itself—

June stood still, his expression far more serious than usual. The air around him felt heavy, suffocating.

"He's finally awakened," June said under his breath.

"Why now… of all times?"

Martha stood beside him, her usual composure shaken.

"I never thought he would awaken this early.

For the first time in a long while, fear crept into the silence between them.

ELSWHERE

In a white, endless dimension—one devoid of sound, shadow, or direction—

A lone figure stood.

White hair flowed gently despite the absence of wind.

Golden eyes reflected something ancient… something knowing.

The figure did not move.

Yet the moment Kamin's name echoed across existence.

Those eyes slowly narrowed.
