Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Let me go…

Gong Jiu's mother cried as she spoke. ( )

Gong Jiu gritted his teeth: "These guys will definitely not have a good ending. If you have the guts, kill our whole family. We will never give in!"

Lu Chen was furious. If this were his territory, with his family's power, he would have slaughtered those vicious dogs and fed them to the wolves in no time. However, they were three or four thousand kilometers away, and he was truly powerless to help.

He could only leave eight thousand yuan, saying it was for Gong Jiu to buy some nutritional supplements to help his leg recover as soon as possible.

Gong Jiu was very moved: "Brother, I'm so sorry. You've come all this way, and not only can I not help you at all, but I've also made you spend money. I really didn't know…"

He choked up as he spoke.

Lu Chen patted Gong Jiu on the shoulder: "Don't talk about that. Once your leg heals, we'll go to the internet cafe and play Warcraft III for three days and three nights!"

"Okay!" Gong Jiu's eyes lit up.

Just then, the faint sound of a girl's screams came from outside.

"Let me go! Don't do this... What do you want to do..."

Gong Jiu shouted first: "It's my sister... Those thugs, are they bullying my sister again?"

In an open space outside the old building, several slovenly thugs had stopped a pretty girl in a high school uniform.

These bastards were behaving wickedly; some grabbed the girl's hair, some pulled her hand, and one even lewdly reached for her buttocks.

The girl pushed one hand away, but another hand reached for her.

She cried out, "Get out of here! I'll call my brother to deal with you! My brother knows kung fu! You bullied me... he'll beat you to death!"

The thugs were arrogant:

"Haha, go ahead and scream! Call your brother! Scream at the top of your lungs! Want me to get you a microphone?"

"Can your brother still save you? Didn't he break one of his legs?"

"If he really can save you, we'll break his other leg too!"

One thug reached out to grab the girl's shoulder, when suddenly a dark figure darted out, and with a sharp crack...

Ouch!

That was the thug's scream. A red welt immediately appeared on his forearm.

The thugs turned around in shock and saw a young man, not much older than them, holding a belt in one hand and pulling up his pants with the other.

Then, the young man looked up at the thugs and smiled brightly: "Heh, luckily my waistband is tight enough. Otherwise, pulling out this belt would have meant taking my pants off."

He was Lu Chen. The red welt on the thug's forearm was from him whipping it with the belt.

The whipping was swift and clean; in an instant, the forearm was red and swollen.

"Who are you?"

The thugs shouted, both surprised and angry.

Lu Chen curled his lip, giving them a disdainful look, then beckoned the girl over.

The girl quickly ran to his side, and he pulled her into his arms like a kitten.

"I'm her brother," Lu Chen said, enunciating each word clearly.

The girl was initially startled and wanted to struggle, but upon hearing those words, a strong sense of security welled up inside her. She stopped struggling and obediently curled up in Lu Chen's arms.

On the balcony of the old building, now only half standing, an elderly couple stared in disbelief:

"Ajiu, what kind of friend is that? How...how did he hug your sister?"

Lying on the bed, Gong Jiu didn't even look, simply saying, "Lu Chen is my brother, so my sister is his sister. I often hug my sister too, I haven't seen you find it strange."

The two elderly people exchanged a glance and nodded.

Then, the mother asked, "Ajiu, can your brother handle so many thugs?"

Gong Jiu said, "He was really good at Warcraft back in the day."

"Oh, that's good...wait a minute! That...that's a video game, isn't it?"

Meanwhile, in the open space, after the thugs shouted, "Even if she had ten brothers, I'd break their legs!" they were suddenly flung around by a belt that appeared and disappeared without a trace.

"Ouch! My head hurts so much!"

"My ear... my ear feels like it's been knocked off."

"Kid, if you've got the guts... don't slap me, oh my god!"

In just seven or eight minutes, four or five thugs were lying on the ground. Some had ears swollen like pig ears, some had mouths swollen like pig snouts, and of course, some had heads swollen like pig heads.

Lu Chen clicked his tongue repeatedly, folded the belt in his hand in half, and then pulled it with a loud cracking sound, scaring the thugs who thought they were going to get another beating. They all shouted for him to stop hitting them.

"Haha, this Barmat crocodile belt is really good. After so many hits, it hasn't deformed at all."
