In three days my sister Jiona Chase will be getting married. I don't really know the guy because I have not been home for the last five years . And the wedding has been in a rush and has been kept private. They said it was just arranged of recent . Jiona told me she also didn't know about it until a week ago , she thought it was a joke but .... That's why she wanted me home quickly. She said she would tell me who the guy was when I got there. I only went home when there was a ceremony or any family gatherings because I was still pursuing my studies in Harvard and luckily I got a job there immediately after I completed my masters degree. My dad wanted me to return and help my sister Jiona in the company but that was not what I really wanted. I wanted to be independent and close to my friends I had gotten abroad especially my boyfriend Riven Gray . I met him when I was an intern at his company but I chose not to work there afterwards because I didn't want rumours about me.
My father was one of the richest men in ORION CITY. His businesses were striving over the years and that was why he educated me and my older sister Jiona in the same line of work . My sister majored in interior designing architecture and I did urban planning architecture . My father is so proud of us and he still wants me to return and work in the company. I don't think that will happen soon because I don't plan to stay away from Riven. It was hard for me to resist joining his company when he requested but I couldn't do that. We planned that he would come and visit my parents soon after Jiona's wedding so that my parents can give him a date for the engagement.

"Jiona you came oh my God you look so exquisite..." Jiona embraced me as she removed the sun glasses she was wearing. I thought she would be busy preparing for her wedding so wouldn't get time to pick me up from the airport but she came. She looked gorgeous as usual. Jiona is just two years older than I am and she has always been proud of that because she usually teased me about how she has raised me as a daughter. I am a bit taller than her but she is more of a fairy than I am and her beauty is just on point.
However, when she smiled I , I felt like something was off. Though we never spent much time together, I knew my sister well and something was really off. She spoke less than she usually did with me. She has always been more principled than me but when we were always together all that didn't count.
" Are you okay?" I asked my Jiona. She nodded her head with a faint smile which was rather plastic than warm as expected
"Actually I have something to tell you." She finally spoke.
" You can tell me anything you know that don't you trust me?" I told her while holding her arm.
" Let's go I will tell you everything " we both sat in the front and she drove to our favorite hangout park when we were still teenagers back then.
When we found a place to sit , she had a little chat about our parents and my stay away from home then finally I asked her what she wanted to tell but Jiona still looked hesitant.
" I need your help Liana, I knew if I told you this when you were abroad you would not have come home so I let you come back first. Liana! I am pregnant!" Jiona spoke timidly yet I was planning to give her a hug to congratulate her.
" Why are you sad about that it's not like you are a young girl that mum and dada will get angry! Besides your are getting married right. As for me , I can't wait to be an auntie." I nearly hugged her in excitement but she stopped me.
" You probably don't understand this Liana..... The problem is that the person am getting married to is not the father and I don't even love him." She threw that on me like a bomb.
