While trying to heal Tauriel, she woke her up. When her disciple saw her crying above her and muttering to herself, she let a small smile appear on her face while whispering ,
„Master... don't. It is of no use. But thank you for letting me see you for the last time and for allowing me to say it. I love you with all my heart. I am sorry that I didn 't have the courage to say it before." She said and started to cough blood. When Luminarie saw this, she began to wail.
„Nooooo! I won 't allow it, you hear me? You can't just leave me!" she wept. „I love you, Tauriel! Please hold on!" she pleaded.
„Thank you, Master, for those words, but please don't waste too many tears on me," said Tauriel and closed her eyes. But when Luminarie heard her, she straightened up like a spear.
„Tears?" she whispered with her eyes wide open and looked at her spatial ring, searching for something. „Tauriel, drink this quickly !" she said in a hurried voice while handing her a small bottle with red liquid. Tauriel drank it without opening her eyes, but after she did, her wounds started to heal visibly. A few seconds later, she opened her eyes and sat up on the wooden bridge where she had fought. She looked around and saw Luminarie with tears in her eyes, who threw herself into her arms. Seeing her normally composed and calm Master in this state, she felt a pang of guilt for allowing her to be like this, but then she remembered what she had told her on her thought deathbed and turned crimson.
„I can't lose you, Tauriel ! Do you hear me? I can't lose you too. Not you, not Arwen. I am not allowing it, do you understand?" said Luminarie, still holding her disciple in her arms and keeping her face against her chest. „Arwen noticed how you were looking at us, and we talked about it. We just wanted you to say it. And you , silly, just watched us without saying anything and went back to the Woodlands. You are going with me back after this, understood? I will not have you out of my reach." Tauriel's face heated at her words. It seemed that only she was shy to even consider that saying it aloud might be worse than being honest.
„Master, I..."
„Don't talk to me like that," said Luminarie, while her arms strengthened their grip on her back. „Now is not the time to talk to me like that. Say it loud."
„Umm, but it is not courteous enough to..."
„Fuck it. Just say it! Do you think I give a damn about this right now?!"
„I-I-I... I just wanted to..." Tauriel started, but Luminarie finally pulled her head from her chest and looked her in the eyes. When she saw the red puffs around her beloved Master's eyes and the tear stains on her face, she felt guilt overwhelm her. „I'm sorry, Luminarie, that I made you scared for me. Can you forgive me?" she said while lowering her head. Luminarie looked at her with a thoughtful face and smiled slyly.
„I will forgive you if you do something for me , " she said, and her smile only grew bigger.
„What can I do for you?" asked Tauriel, still looking down.
„Close your eyes and raise your head , " said Luminarie, which stunned Tauriel, but she complied. She thought she knew what would happen, and she wasn't wrong. When she raised her face with closed eyes, Luminarie closed the distance and began to kiss her. Just at that moment, the dwarves with kids came around the corner and saw the two elven women in a passionate embrace. Fili, who had been standing there for some time, looked at his brother and joined them, while Kili looked on with a broken heart at the sight before him. Luminarie felt their presence in her senses, but she decided to kiss her disciple for a little longer, as she needed to know that she wasn't just doing it with half-hearted thinking.
„You are mine, do you understand?" she said after their lips parted, and they looked into each other's eyes. Tauriel blushed and nodded her head while licking her lips, and Luminarie smiled at her action. They stood up and looked towards the dwarves, and Luminarie's gaze locked onto Kili. Everyone thought that she would say something like Tauriel is hers or that he shouldn't go after her loved one, but she just lowered her gaze to his leg and started to walk towards him.
„ Morgul's poison... well, it sucks to die this way. Tell me , Kili, do you want to die, or do you want to live?" she said while walking towards them.
„What is that question? Of course, he wants to live , " said Fili. „Right, brother?"
„Yes, I want to live, but if you are asking that question, there is probably a price, right?"
„Well, not exactly a price, but you can call it a favor. I want the body of Smaug after he dies, so it would be great if you, as family of Thorin, could back me up in this, hehe," she said, causing everyone present who heard it to be baffled.
„ Smaug's body? If he is dead , then you can have it. Just looking at it would remind us of all those years, so it would be even better if you would take it , " said Kili, struggling and coughing.
„Okay then, it is settled. Now everyone step back from him after you lay him on the ground. Oh , and please don't be surprised by what you will see. Tauriel, I always wanted to show this to you and Arwen, but there wasn't a good occasion, so you will be the first to see it between you two." She said with a smile towards the elven maiden and stood over Kili, who was laid down on the wood. Luminarie then closed her eyes, took a big breath, and from her back, wings of golden fire appeared .
„Luminarie... what are those wings?"
„The whole story will be laid down before you much later, but I will say now that they are Phoenix Wings," she said with a small smile. Then she looked down at Kili's leg and lowered one of her wings to touch his wound.
„That would burn his leg!" shouted Oin.
„Relax, I know what I am doing," said Luminarie while her wing touched the wound, and everyone saw black mist rising from it . When it rose, it started to burn with the golden fire from Luminarie's wings. When she saw that the skin around the wound wasn't black with veins anymore, she folded her wings, and they disappeared . Kili then took a deep breath and thanked her.
„Okay. Now that this is out of the way, you can go towards the mountain, and Tauriel and I will take care of these children," Luminarie said while taking the hand of the younger elf in her own. Dwarves looked at each other, then bowed with gratitude and left for the Lonely Mountain.
„Master, are you sure we should stay here? They would need help with the dragon, right?" asked Tauriel, a little surprised that Luminarie wanted the body of Smaug and wasn 't going to help reclaim Erebor.
„Tauriel, tell me what the dragon would do when he awakens and notices the smell of humans before you could even kill him? Dragons are not easy to kill , and inside their city in the mountain, it would be even harder. I wouldn't be able to deal with him quickly enough to stop him from running towards Esgaroth. Smaug will leave the mountain , and I need to be here to protect people. We can at least try to convince them to have minimal escape rations for the road in case of emergency and have exit routes to leave quickly . We don't need to spread panic, but remind them to be cautious and prepared. Right, boy? Girls, what are your names?" Luminarie said and turned towards Bard's kids. She knew them, but she needed to pretend otherwise .
„My name is Bain, son of Bard, and these are my sisters, Sigrid and Tilda , " said the boy while pointing out which sister was whom.
„Good. Now, Bain, I need to talk with your father about something. Is he in the house or somewhere else?" asked Luminarie.
„He was imprisoned by the city lord for telling the truth about the danger of the dragon. But they were blinded by promises of gold from that Thorin , " said Sigrid with contempt.
„Hmm, it seems that dragon sickness is taking root in Thorin's heart. I hope that he can overcome it like in the movie," whispered Luminarie and patted Tilda. „Okay then, Tauriel, you will go with them to their house and pack them up, and I will go visit the prison. I need to do something as they just locked up the only person who knows where the thing that can kill the dragon is in this city. Well, I could do it without it, but it's better to have a backup plan in place than to be sorry, right?" she said and walked towards the city center. „Oh, and make something to eat while you're there , Tauriel. I am starving, hehe, and I want to taste your cooking skills again after so much time." At this, Tauriel blushed again and nodded her head while Tilda looked at her with curious eyes.
„Excuse me, are you in love with her? But you both are women, right? How can a woman fall in love with another woman ?" asked Tilda with innocent eyes.
„Well, this is a little complicated, child, but some people are just different from others and do not follow the same normal standards as others. But you need to know that this is just like women falling for men. Because we don't fall for another person's looks, but for their personality, character, and how they act as a whole. We love each other in every way possible , " said Tauriel while patting her head. „Right, we need to go to your home and pack just in case."
