"This place is indeed the best," Ling Tian murmured.
Ling Tian was currently standing on the treehouse deck. His hands rested on the railing, and a soft smile spread across his face.
Even though Lu Yichen and his lackeys had caused trouble for him, he was still in a good mood because the peaceful atmosphere made everything feel calm again.
As he was enjoying the view, a familiar voice rang out.
"I knew you would be here." Shen Yueyan approached him with a soft smile.
He turned to her and teased her. "You came to this treehouse again? Do you miss me that much?"
"I'm not." She sat on the deck beside him. "Sit down. Let's eat snacks together."
"Snacks? You haven't had lunch yet?" he asked.
"I already had lunch," she replied. "I bought them for us."
"For us?" He tilted his head.
"Don't you think it's better to enjoy beautiful scenery while eating snacks?" she believed the atmosphere would be more pleasant because food could make everything better.
"You are right." He agreed. "Then, let's enjoy the snacks."
"Un." She nodded.
While they ate, Ling Tian reached for her right hand and held it gently.
Shen Yueyan didn't say anything about it.
She only glanced at him briefly before eating a potato chip because it was not his first time holding her hand.
"Yueyan, don't you think the view suddenly became more beautiful?" Ling Tian asked.
She knew why he said that, so she teased him. "No. It's the same."
The corner of his lips twitched as he turned to her.
"Hehe." She giggled softly.
At first, Ling Tian wanted to tease her back, but the moment his gaze fell on her face, he felt like he was hypnotized by her.
Her soft chuckles turned him into a statue and for some reason, he could not take his eyes off her.
Shen Yueyan was shocked by his expression and immediately asked, "What's wrong, Tian?"
"You are so beautiful, Yueyan." He gave an honest answer.
Her surprised face melted into a smile. "Thank you."
Ling Tian's eyes widened once more.
At this moment, the world around him seemed to lose its beauty and she was the only one who shone with brilliance.
'She is like an angel.'
He subconsciously raised his right hand and cupped her pretty face.
Shen Yueyan's heart suddenly pounded, especially when he slowly brought his face closer to hers.
'Is he going to kiss me?'
Despite knowing what he was going to do, she didn't push him away.

Her break was almost over, so she needed to return to the clinic immediately.
"You are going back now?" Ling Tian asked.
"Yes," she answered.
"Then, how about you give me a goodbye kiss before leaving? With this, I won't feel lonely later." He tried to take advantage of her.
"Sure." She agreed without thinking twice.
"You agree?" he asked in surprise.
"You already kissed me, so giving you another one won't hurt," she replied. "Close your eyes now."
Ling Tian shut his eyes with happiness.
He thought she would kiss him for real, but he was wrong because she only teased him.
"Mmmuucchh…" she pressed her right index and middle fingers against his lips and pretended they were her mouth. "Done!"
He opened his eyes and protested. "Hey, that's cheating! Those are your fingers, not your lips."
"Hehe. I never said I would kiss you with my lips." She defended herself with a laugh.
He pinched her cheek and said, "You are really a bad woman!"
"I am." She removed his hand from her face and rose to her feet. "Alright. I'm leaving now."
Once she reached the ground, she smiled at him and waved goodbye. After she disappeared into the distance, he dropped onto his back and looked at the sky.
'She really is a bad woman!'

After resting for thirty minutes, he went to class.
By 03:00 pm, his class ended.
As he was heading to his studio, Lu Yichen and his lackeys were waiting for him in front of the university gate.
Ling Tian had humiliated him in front of many people, so he wanted to seek revenge.
"It's him!" Kai pointed his right index finger at Ling Tian.
"Let's approach him!" Lu Yichen said.
Kai, Hao, Dong, and Shang nodded their heads before finally following him.

Even though they would gang up on him, he was still calm.

"Sure!" Ling Tian agreed instantly.
Then, they brought him to a quiet place.
